OBJECTIVES This study determined: 1) the interobserver agreement; 2) valvular flow variation; and 3) which variables independently predicted the variation of valvular flow quantification from 4-dimensional (4D) flow cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) with automated retrospective valve tracking at multiple sites. BACKGROUND Automated retrospective valve tracking in 4D flow CMR allows consistent assessment of valvular flow through all intracardiac valves. Digitālās refrakcijas pielietojums labākā koriģētā redzes asuma novērtēšanai

Darbs ir uzrakstīts angļu valodā uz 36 lappusēm, satur 20 attēlus, 4 tabulas un 35 literatūras avotus. Darba mērķis ir pārbaudīt redzes asumu ar trim refrakcijas metodēm: autorefraktometriju, subjektīvo refraktometriju un digitālo refraktometriju ar ierīci ESSILOR Vision R-800. Tika salīdzināta refrakcija 15 subjektiem vecumā no 12 līdz 40 gadiem. Refrakcijas dati tika pārveidoti optiskā stipruma vektora formā. Rezultāti: Statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības tika konstatētas redzes asumam, bet ne optiskā stipruma vektoriem, kas bija ļoti līdzīgi viens otram. Secinājums: digitālā refrakcija ar precizitāti 0,01 D pie nepārtrauktas optiskā stipruma maiņas parādīja labāku redzes asumu pat pie zema …

This leads to continuous introduction of foreign genetic material to local, established microbial communities. In this perspective, I ask whether this silent rain may have a slowing effect on the overall evolutionary rates in the microbial biosphere. Arguably, the greater the genetic divergence between gene ‘donors’ and ‘recipients’, the greater the chance that the gene product has a deleterious epistatic interaction with other gene products in its genetic environment. The aim of this dissertation is to qualitatively describe and explain bad leader- ship and the role of the bad leader within. The dissertation consists of five orig- inal articles and the introductory section. The study is based on the foundation formed by research on bad leadership and research on discourse analysis. The focus is on the role of language in the construction, reconstruction and mainte- nance of meanings. The first of the articles contains the description of the discursive approach applied in the studies.
