Understanding the impact of digital on performing arts: a systematic literature review proposal

Digital technologies have profoundly changed the cultural and creative industries. Due to the intrinsic characteristics of the performing arts sector, this digital transition has had a later impact on it. However, it has accelerated since the Covid-19 pandemic, forcing organizations to digitally transform themselves to keep in touch with their audience(s). Now that this crisis is over, many strategic and operational questions still remain unanswered. This research proposes a systematic literature review in order to establish the state of the art of the research on digitalization of the performing arts sector and to highlight the main research avenues to be explored.

Literacy Skill Development of Children With Familial Risk for Dyslexia Through Grades 2, 3, and 8

This study followed the development of reading speed, reading accuracy, and spelling in transparent Finnish orthography through Grades 2, 3, and 8. We compared two groups of children with familial risk for dyslexia, with or without dyslexia in Grade 2 (Dys_FR, n = 35 and NoDys_FR, n = 66) to a group of children without familial risk and dyslexia (Controls, n = 72). The Dys_FR group showed persisting deficiency especially in reading speed, and, to a minor extent, in reading and spelling accuracy. Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää älylaitteiden eli älypuhelimen, tabletin ja kannettavan tietokoneen käyttöä lukiolaisten ruotsin kielen oppimisessa, erityisesti sanaston oppimisessa. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli kartoittaa millaisissa tilanteissa älylaitteita hyödynnetään ruotsin kielen opiskelussa lukiossa. Lisäksi haluttiin selvittää käyttävätkö lukiolaiset yhä kirjamuotoisia sanakirjoja ja miten lukiolaiset etsivät tietoa tai ottavat selvää sanojen merkityksistä. In this chapter we analyze how local member banks shifted from local, vernacular, accounting, and performance measurement systems to centralized and standardized performance measurement systems in a cooperative bank organization. The member banks reduced the use of vernacular accounting systems (VAS) to achieve greater cost-efficiency and to meet regulation requirements, but they still maintained their strong local logics beside the cooperative unity logic, with only minimal or moderate conflict. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan puhetta kulttuuriperinnöstä kymmenen suurimman suomalaisen kaupungin tuoreissa kulttuuristrategioissa. Kulttuuriperinnöstä puhutaan melko vähän ja enimmäkseen epäsuorasti siihen liitettävien teemojen ja ilmaisujen kautta. Se on tullut osaksi paikallista julkisen kulttuurihallinnon strategista puhetta, mutta sen merkitykset ovat toistaiseksi moninaisia ja strategistuminen häilyvää. Kulttuuriperintö kytketään kaupunkilaisten aktivoimiseen, yhteisöllisyyteen sekä kaupungin imagoon ja talouteen. Muutamat strategiat tunnistavat sen itseisarvonkin. peerReviewed
