Il contributo prende in esame ANIMA-L, un progetto ideato da Carla Sutera Sardo nel 2020 e presentato nel contesto dell'Orto Botanico di Gibellina in occasione di Images Gibellina. Open Air and Site Specific Photo Festival. ANIMA-L declina in chiave contemporanea la relazione antichissima tra l'Uomo e la Natura. The contribution examines ANIMA-L, a project conceived by Carla Sutera Sardo in 2020 and presented in the context of the Botanical Garden of Gibellina on the occasion of Images Gibellina. Open Air and Site Specific Photo Festival. ANIMA-L interprets the ancient relationship between Man and Nature in a contemporary key.

Correlates of the non-use of contraception among female university students in Italy

The present paper scrutinizes the correlates of the non-use of contraception among young women in Italy. To this end we consulted two releases of Selfy (Sexual and Emotional LiFe of Youths) survey, which offer information for a nationally sample of university students. The results reveal that the likelihood of non-using contraception is higher among women living in the South and among those with previous experience of unsafe sexual behaviours. The risk of unprotected sex is also higher within a group of students who are relatively older than the others and live in a stable cohabiting union.

Contraception is considered a rational strategy to prevent unwanted births. However, beyond the dichotomy of «planned» and «unplanned» pregnancy, behaviours are sometimes ambivalent or contradictory. The present paper inves tigates the reasons beyond the non-use of contraception in Italy by examining a large-scale survey of university students conducted in 2000 and 2017. The findings reveal a small but clearly defined group of young female students, cohabiting with their partner and residing in the South of the country, who have a high frequency of sexual intercourses and do not deliberately use any contra ceptive method. L'articolo si propone di indagare le modalità attraverso le quali le istanze dettate dalla Controriforma cattolica trovano espressione nel linguaggio figurativo. Tale intento viene esplicitato mediante lo studio comparativo tra la maschera funeraria di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola e la "Santa Cecilia" di Stefano Maderno, esempi emblematici di propaganda religiosa controriformata.

A Phenomenographic Research Study of Students’ Conceptions of Mobile Learning: An Example From Higher Education

This article aims to identify different ways of using mobile devices in students’ learning in higher education. This qualitative research presents the findings from a phenomenographic research of students’ conceptions of mobile learning (m-learning) in higher education. A cohort of 16 students from four universities of Bangladesh took part in semi-structured interviews to explore their in-depth understandings and experiences of m-learning.
