Este trabajo presenta el diseño de un proyecto de investigación que está siendo desarrollado por la Unidad de Investigación de Psicología Social de la Universitat de Valéncia y el Ayuntamiento de Quart de Poblet, enmarcado en el programa europeo Regionet Integra, y cuyo objetivo es diseñar un Programa de itinerarios formativos para madres y padres de alumnos inmigrantes que facilite el proceso de escolarización de los alumnos y a la vez promueva la integración social de sus padres a través de la participación en el sistema educativo.

Este artículo forma parte de un proyecto transnacional entre España, Portugal, Italia y Grecia, subvencionado por el Programa de Desarrollo Tecnológico del Gobierno Autonómico Valenciano, que tiene como objetivo el fomento de actitudes tolerantes hacia inmigrantes en el sistema educativo. Se ha diseñado un modelo llamado EUROSUR que, puesto a prueba a través de experimentación, obtiene resultados satístactorios. Recognising forced migrants in transnational social work

PurposeNation states’ neoliberal policies do not regard asylum seekers and undocumented migrants as deserving of a good life. Social work in welfare states is highly connected to the policies of nation states. There is a need to address theories in social work that have a transnational focus at the local level. Axel Honneth’s recognition theory enables an approach to forced migration from the direction of personal relations and personhood itself. The core idea is that if people cannot gain recognition, this causes harm to their self-realisation. Partial migration – a part of a population migrates and another part stays resident year-round on the breeding site – is probably the most common type of migration in the animal kingdom, yet it has only lately garnered more attention. Theoretical studies indicate that in partially migratory populations, the proportion of resident individuals (PoR) should increase in high latitudes in response to the warming climate, but empirical evidence exists for few species.
