Rab33B and its autophagic Atg5/12/16L1 effector assist in hepatitis B virus naked capsid formation and release

2015

Hepatitis B virus morphogenesis is accompanied by the production and release of non-enveloped capsids/nucleocapsids. Capsid particles are formed inside the cell cytosol by multimerization of core protein subunits and ultimately exported in an uncommon coatless state. Here, we investigated potential roles of Rab GTPases in capsid formation and trafficking by using RNA interference and overexpression studies. Naked capsid release does not require functions of the endosome-associated Rab5, Rab7 and Rab27 proteins, but depends on functional Rab33B, a GTPase participating in autophagosome formation via interaction with the Atg5-Atg12/Atg16L1 complex. During capsid formation, Rab33B acts in conju…

Gestions de l'eau et du développement urbain dans l'espace dijonnais :quels modes d'intégration territoriale ?

2006

Urban growth, jointed to technical networks, contributes to human pressure on water resources. In the meantime, the water French policy put management of urban development in accordance with catchments and hydrologic dynamics; that makes districts and intermunicipal groupings adopt new areas and action systems. The urban area of Dijon is located in three catchments and above a wide groundwater. This case shows urban water management gives greater place to precariousness and common character of water resources, even if institutional responses mainly concern town planning regulation.

Świętowanie na ulicy. Orszak Trzech Króli w zimowym pejzażu miasta

2017

Przemarsz ulicami miasta księży i osób wierzących, nau…

Formare educatori e insegnanti ludici

2020

Constructing responsibility in social interaction: an analysis of responsibility talk in hospital administrative groups

2018

The role of responsibility in hospitals is undeniable. Although administrative groups are essential to organizational performance, previous group and team studies of responsibility in hospital organizations have concentrated mainly on healthcare teams. This study aims to describe and understand responsibility construction in the social interaction in hospital administrative group meetings, based on observation and analysis of seven administrative group meetings in a Finnish hospital. Categories generated by thematic content analysis were compared with responsibility types. The findings show that responsibility is constructed by creating co-responsibility, taking individual responsibility, a…

Vuorovaikutus sairaalajohtoryhmien kokouksissa

2018

Kokoukset lienevät yleisin työelämän vuorovaikutuskäytänne ja siten organisoinnin keskeinen areena. Kokouksista on kirjoitettu lähinnä opaskirjallisuutta ja kokouksiin keskittyvä tutkimus on lisääntynyt vasta viime vuosina. Kokousteoreettinen jäsennys on kuitenkin edelleen vähäistä. Organisaation konstituointi tapahtuu vuorovaikutusprosesseissa.

Conservation of the positions of metazoan introns from sponges to humans

2002

Abstract Sponges (phylum Porifera) are the phylogenetic oldest Metazoa still extant. They can be considered as reference animals (Urmetazoa) for the understanding of the evolutionary processes resulting in the creation of Metazoa in general and also for the metazoan gene organization in particular. In the marine sponge Suberites domuncula , genes encoding p38 and JNK kinases contain nine and twelve introns, respectively. Eight introns in both genes share the same positions and the identical phases. One p38 intron slipped for six bases and the JNK gene has three more introns. However, the sequences of the introns are not conserved and the introns in JNK gene are generally much longer. Intron…

Groups as Persons? : A Suggestion for a Hegelian Turn

2017

Christian List and Philip Pettit have recently argued for a performative theory of personhood in which all agents who manage to perform in the space of obligations are taken as persons. Based on this account they claim that group agents are also persons. This theory has been challenged on the grounds of its historical accuracy, lack of political relevance, and contestability of the concept of personhood. This paper aims to take a new perspective on the debate by approaching it through the Hegelian idea of recognition. The claim is that recognition theory provides a multi-dimensional view of personhood that gives a clearer account of what is at stake with collective personhood. peerReviewed

Ryhmämuotoisuuden mahdollisuudet kuntoutuksessa nuorten aikuisten kuvaamana

2021

Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan työelämän ja koulutuksen ulkopuolella olevien nuorten aikuisten näkemyksiä ryhmämuotoisuuden mahdollisuuksista kuntoutuksessa. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostuu sosiaalista ja ammatillista kuntoutusta yhdistävään kuntoutusryhmään osallistuneiden nuorten aikuisten kolmesta ryhmä- ja kolmesta yksilöhaastattelusta (yhteensä 16 haastateltavaa). Lähtökohdan ryhmämuotoisuuteen liittyvien mahdollisuuksien tarkasteluun muodostavat sosiaalisia ryhmiä ia identiteettiä valottavat näkökulmat. Tutkimuksen tulosten perusteella kuntoutuksen ryhmämuotoisuus näyttäytyy nuorille aikuisille enimmäkseen myönteisinä mahdollisuuksina, jotka liittyvät itsensä sosiaalisille tilanteille …

Reflecting on Work Values with Young Unemployed Adults in Finland

2019

In this article, we explore the internal conversations about the work values of young unemployed adults in Finland. We draw on the theoretical concept of internal conversation by Margaret Archer in order to shift the focus from the individual work values to the interplay between subjective concerns and structural circumstances. The data consist of six group interviews conducted among 29 young unemployed adults. We argue that the internal conversations on work values of young unemployed adults constitute five significant concerns: self-realization and opportunity to contribute to society; sufficient income to live independently; social expectations; challenges of finding employment; and unsu…
