Stacie Friend's theory of fiction departs from those ap- proaches that seek to identify the necessary and sufficient conditions for a work to count as fiction. She argues that this goal cannot really be achieved; instead, she appeals to the notion of genre to distinguish between fiction and nonfiction. This notion is significantly more flex- ible, since it invites us to identify standard¿but not necessary¿and counter-standard features of works of fiction in light of our classifi- catory practices. Friedrich Schiller’s tragedy, "Braut von Messina", being a project of a new tragedy form and the plot structure modelled on the mythic story of Oedipus’s family, is usually placed in the developmental seąuence of the genres of Schicksalstragodie and Jambentragodie. Yet, the ostentatious condensation and muddling of the motives of the Oedipus myth in the plot calls for the use of the chronologically close categories of romantic irony and romantic myth-making, and subseąuently, for asking a ąuestion concerning the intention of establishing the mythical world by means of a ritual performed with the use of theatrical measures.

Beta decay of fission products is at the origin of decay heat and antineutrino emission in nuclear reactors. Decay heat represents about 7% of the reactor power during operation and strongly impacts reactor safety. Reactor antineutrino detection is used in several fundamental neutrino physics experiments and it can also be used for reactor monitoring and non-proliferation purposes. 92,93Rb are two fission products of importance in reactor antineutrino spectra and decay heat, but their β-decay properties are not well known. In this review we will present the results of recent beta-decay studies using the total absorption technique that cover topics of interest for applications, nuclear structure and astrophysics. The decays studied were selected primarily because they have a large impact on the prediction of a) the decay heat in reactors, important for the safety of present and future reactors and b) the reactor electron antineutrino spectrum, of interest for particle/nuclear physics and reactor monitoring. A Model for the Study of Sheath Currents in Medium Voltage Cables for Industrial Application

In this paper, the implementation of a simulation model for studying the effect of cross-bonding of metallic sheaths and/or non-magnetic armor of single-core medium voltage cables in the same circuit is discussed. With the use of single-core cables, the resistive losses due to the induced circulating currents in cable sheaths or armors causes an increase of cable temperature that reduces its ampacity. In addition, the risk of electric shock due to induced voltages may be present if a person is exposed to the armor/sheath at the unbounded end.
