Professional identity in relation to vocational teachers’ work : an identity-centred approach to professional development

2018

This paper reports a study on teachers’ professional identity and work in vocational education. The findings showed that vocational teachers’ work included vocational teaching within the school, developmental work, technology-enhanced work, professional duties outside the school, and educational duties within the school. Furthermore, the study revealed the harmonious and tensioned relationships between these elements of the work and teachers’ identities. Recognition of the nuanced nature of these relationships provides a perspective for promoting teachers’ professional development. Daiļliteratūrā humoru rada dažādi lingvistiskie un stila izteiksmes līdzekļi, no kuriem vairums ir plaši izpētīts. Tomēr mūsdienās popularitāti ir guvis jauns komisku stāstu prezentēšanas formāts – interneta radio aplāde – kura stilistiskās un stāstījuma īpatnības joprojām tiek pētītas salīdzinoši minimāli. Tādēļ šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot kā humors tiek veidots komēdijas aplādē „Laipni lūdzam nakts ielejā” (Welcome to Night Vale). Background: The present study tested Lee et al.’s (2008) model of moral attitudes and cheating behavior in sports in an Italian sample of young tennis players and extended it to predict behavior in actual match play. In the first phase of the study we proposed that moral, competence and status values would predict prosocial and antisocial moral attitudes directly, and indirectly through athletes’ goal orientations. ABSTRACT Relational networks and intangible factors are crucial elements for the competitiveness of a territory. Public–Private–Partnerships (PPPs), in particular, allow for the provision of goods and services that favour the exploitation of complementarities between public and private resources. They aim at promoting an increase in the overall efficiency of investment projects through a complex mechanism that distributes risk and revenues among stakeholders.
