Hipofīzes adenomu šūnu raksturojums

Hipofīzes adenoma ir populācijā bieži sastopams labdabīgs smadzeņu audzējs. Šobrīd trūkst informācijas par iespējamiem audzēja veidošanās mehānismiem un tā attīstību veicinošām mutācijām. Šajā pētījumā ir apkopoti 10 hipofīzes adenomu pacientu dati, kas iegūti ar molekulārām un šūnu bioloģijas metodēm. No hipofīzes adenomu operāciju materiāla tika iegūtas heterogēnas šūnu kultūras, kas tika raksturotas pēc audzēja un cilmes šūnu marķieriem, ka arī mutāciju spektra, izmantojot imūnfluorescentās krāsošanas, plūsmas citometrijas, vienas šūnas pilna genoma amplifikācijas un eksonu sekvenēšanas metodes. The wage curve and local monopsony power

AbstractUsing longitudinal micro-data from Finland, a country with a geographically dispersed population and relatively long distances between local labor markets, this paper examines the responsiveness of the pay level to local unemployment conditions. In particular, this study tests the hypothesis that the pay level is more responsive to the unemployment level in less agglomerated and more remote regions as might be expected if employers have a higher degree of monopsony power in such regions. Aim. Physical activity (PA) has traditionally been measured wearing accelerometers on the hip, but they are increasingly being worn on the wrist. We compared hip and wrist accelerometers with regard to their acceptability and any associations between PA and fatness and fitness. Methods. In contemporary societies we are witnessing an expansion of the messages of human capital. These messages have as their central dimension idea of the self-entrepreneur, which implies a deepening in the logic of activation, while blurring the wage relations. Relazioni tra parametri biometrici in Marthasterias glacialis (L.) (Asteroidea)

Biometric parameters of the Asteroid echinoderm Marthasterias glacialis (L.) were measured at Ustica Island MPA (SW Tyrrhenian Sea). Wet weight was correlated with tip-to-tip (arm-span) diameter, central disk, arm length, arm width and arm height. Results show high positive correlation between weight and arm height, suggesting a new useful method to estimate starfish size also for in situ measurements.
