La necrópolis de la barriada de Orriols (Valencia) se levanta sobre una pequeña elevación del terreno en relación con la Vía Augusta. Se trata de un cementerio periurbano que estuvo en uso entre los siglos II y IV d. C. Los enterramientos responden a los rituales de cremación e inhumación, lo que nos ha permitido constatar dos fases cronológicas durante las que se emplean otras prácticas funerarias. Have IFRS Changed How Stock Prices Associate with Earnings and Book Values? Evidence from Norway

Firms listed on European, Australian and an increasing number of other stock exchanges are required to report according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). We use a Norwegian sample to examine whether the adoption of IFRS in 2005 has changed the value relevance of earnings relative to book values. IFRS are balance sheet-oriented and emphasize measurement at fair value. In contrast, Norwegian GAAP (NGAAP) are earnings-oriented and focus on measurement at transactional (historical) cost. IFRS also differ by recognizing more intangible assets, which further contributes to making IFRS less conservative than NGAAP. We find that more fair value accounting increases the value re…

The present article attempts to record and present as much as possible the Latin translations of hagiographical texts during the Middle Byzantine period. The texts are first approached from a literary point of view, then a historical presentation is attempted, referring to their possible functional use in the traditions of the two churches, Constantinople and Rome.

At the end of the 19th century, Spanish carnivals have been marked by the participation of the different tunas or also known as, estudiantinas. These groups achieved significant relevance in Galicia, especially in the city of Compostela, which, year after year, encouraged and supported the formation of groups of this nature to liven up the carnivals in the different Spanish cities.
