First of all, the article proposes to divide Primo Levi’s poetic work in two main time periods: 1) from the beginnings (1945) to the publication of the first poetry book (The Bremen Beer-Hall, All’insegna del pesce d’oro, 1975); 2) from 1975 to the death of the author, occurred in 1987. This distinction mirrors the concept of a poetic itinerary which seems to be a heterogeneous studio of topics and languages originally developed, if compared with Levi’s prose. Therefore, a textual analysis of some significant poems from the first time period is proposed. Sátira y política en el primer republicanismo: los tres juicios de Juan Martínez Villergas (1840-1854)

El texto analiza la importancia que tuvo el uso literario de la sátira para la cultura política del primer republicanismo español a través de la figura de Juan Martínez Villergas (1817-1894), el más conocido autor satírico de la España de las décadas centrales del siglo XIX. Se señalan el sentido y la utilidad de este género literario para esta cultura política. Asimismo, se apunta a cómo la confluencia entre la actividad política y la literaria configuraron un determinado modelo de poeta revolucionario y una forma de entender la literatura que empezó a ser cuestionada y arrinconada en la España posrevolucionaria, bajo la hegemonía cultural del liberalismo respetable.

Syvällä sydänmaassa – Yrjö Blomstedtin ja Victor Sucksdorffin Kainuu -näyttely kertoo kahden arkkitehdin, Yrjö Blomstedtin ja Victor Sucksdorffin, tunnetusta Venäjän Karjalan tutkimus- ja keräysmatkasta kesällä 1894. Matkasta julkaistiin kaksiosainen Karjalaisia rakennuksia ja koristemuotoja -teos, joka on myöhemmin arvioitu arkkitehtuurin Kalevalaksi ja taideteollisuuden klassiseksi tiennäyttäjäksi. Suurelle yleisölle on kuitenkin jäänyt tuntemattomaksi se, että Blomstedt ja Sucksdorff työskentelivät ahkerasti myös nykyisen Kainuun alueella. The colonial policy of the second Republic demonstrate a moderate assimilationist policy. The ideas of Victor Schoelcher are influential, but not entirely adopted. Indeed, Schoelcher fought for the application of common law to the colonies. Although the emancipated slaves of the four old colonies are under the rule of juridical assimilation, the specific status of the natives remains unchanged. The constitution of 1848 institutes a représentation of the colonies before the National Assembly, proclaims the unity and indivisibility of the Republic and the sovereignty of France over its colonies. However, it adopts the principle of specific legislation for the later.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie dominacji historii w stosunkach polsko-niemieckich od przełomu lat 80. i 90. XX w. po czasy współczesne. Trzydzieści minionych lat podzielono na cztery podokresy i zaprezentowano dominujące w nich kwestie historyczne. Wybrane przykłady problemów z przeszłości i debaty, jakie toczyły i toczą się nadal na ich temat, świadczą dobitnie o ich ogromnym znaczeniu dla rozwoju relacji między Polakami a Niemcami. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono kwestii budowy w Niemczech pomnika polskich ofi ar II wojny światowej.

International audience; During the Central European Iron Age, more specifically between 600 and 100 BC, red precious corals (Corallium rubrum) became very popular in many regions, often associated with the so-called (early) Celts. Red corals are ideally suited to investigate several key questions of Iron Age research, like trade patterns or social and economic structures. While it is fairly easy to distinguish modern C. rubrum from bone, ivory or shells, archaeologists are confronted with ancient, hence altered, artifacts.
