Siderophore typing, a powerful tool for the identification of fluorescent and nonfluorescent Pseudomonas
2002
ABSTRACT A total of 301 strains of fluorescent pseudomonads previously characterized by conventional phenotypic and/or genomic taxonomic methods were analyzed through siderotyping, i.e., by the isoelectrophoretic characterization of their main siderophores and pyoverdines and determination of the pyoverdine-mediated iron uptake specificity of the strains. As a general rule, strains within a well-circumscribed taxonomic group, namely the species Pseudomonas brassicacearum , Pseudomonas fuscovaginae , Pseudomonas jessenii , Pseudomonas mandelii , Pseudomonas monteilii , “ Pseudomonas mosselii ,” “ Pseudomonas palleronii ,” Pseudomonas rhodesiae , “ Pseudomonas salomonii ,” Pseudomonas syringa…

RF fingerprinting for user locationing in LTE/WLAN networks
2016
Location based applications and services have become popular in many wireless communication devices. This thesis study presents a performance evaluation of Radio Frequency (RF) fingerprinting framework in heterogeneous Long Term Evolution (LTE) and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) using Minimization of Drive Testing (MDT) measurements which allow automated construction of extensive RF fingerprint training databases. Utilization of MDT data could create additional opportunities for service provider and application developers. Typical RF fingerprint consist of radio measurements from multiple LTE transceiver stations and WLAN access points. Regardless environmental conditions, received sig…
Klusterointi radiotaajuuspaikannuksessa
2017

Archives and Library at Cîteaux Abbey: Medieval Writings (12th c.– Early 16th c.)
2019
This thesis project deals with the organization of scriptural productions, archival and library practices of Cîteaux Abbey. We consider the multiple forms of these pratices: creation and increase of archival holdings (Abbey archives and cistercian Order documents), filing, preservation of archives, relations with users. This research takes into account the aspects of document materiality and archaeology, studying cartulary and register processes with their bindings, inventory methods of archives and manuscripts, document appraisal and disposal, classification or restoration, shelf-marks and other graphic characters.
An Interview with the Brother, Micheál Ó Nualláin
2015
This interview with Micheál Ó Nualláin, Brian O’Nolan’s brother and the only surviving member of his generation of the family, was conducted on 10 June 2014 in Monkstown, County Dublin. Its purpose was to obtain information about Brian O’Nolan’s private library at the John J. Burns Library, Boston College; the archive being the focal point of this issue of The Parish Review. It was Micheál who sold the last of his brother’s effects to Boston College in May 1997 and therefore he is in a position to answer questions about the purchase of the library, its contents and their provenance, and the reading practices of Brian and Evelyn O’Nolan. To read the article, click Download or View PDF.
