Polyploidy appears to have played a limited role in citrus germplasm evolution. However, today, ploidy manipulation is an important component of citrus breeding strategies. For varieties, the main objective is to develop triploid seedless cultivars. For rootstock, the aim is to cumulate interesting traits in tetraploid hybrids and to improve adaptation to biotic and abiotic stresses. This chapter starts with a review of the recent knowledge acquired on the natural mechanisms of citrus polyploidization and tetraploid meiosis. Background: Although nutritional status plays an important part in the physical performance and disability of older people, this relationship has been little studied in developing countries. Aims: A study on the effects of nutritional status on the physical performance and functional status of elderly people living in rural areas of the Peruvian Andes. Xylan-degrading enzymes are crucial for the deconstruction of hemicellulosic biomass, making the hydrolysis products available for various industrial applications such as the production of biofuel. To determine the substrate specificities of these enzymes, we prepared a collection of complex xylan oligosaccharides by automated glycan assembly. El objetivo de este trabajo fue estudiar las aspiraciones vitales de deportistas adolescentes de alto rendimiento y su relación con la pasión que tienen con respecto a su deporte. Participaron 234 deportistas argentinos (47,9 % varones; 52,1 % mujeres) de entre 12 y 16 años de edad (M = 14,48; DT = 1,09) pertenecientes al Plan de Desarrollo de los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud (Buenos Aires, 2018), quienes respondieron un cuestionario sociodemográfico, el Inventario de Aspiraciones vitales y la Escala de Pasión. Effect of inoculation with selected Bradyrhizobium spp. on the survival and growth of Acacia mangium saplings after 20 months in the field

This work was designed to test the long-term effect of the inoculation of #Acacia mangium# seedlings with 10 selected strains of #Bradyrhizobium spp.#. The percentage of survival of seedlings inoculated with any of the #Bradyrhizobium# strains was increased by 10% as compared to the control plants. However, out of the 10 #Bradyrhizobium# strains tested, only 3 strains, Aust l3c, Lu 4 and Tel 8, belonging to the phylogenelic group 1, significandy enhanced the growth of #A. mangium# after 20 months in the field. Lietotne ir daļa no uzņēmuma KASKO informācijas sistēmas, tās uzdevums ir būt par mediatoru starp citām uzņēmuma sistēmām un trešo pušu sistēmām. Pakalpojuma izstrādē izmantota programmēšanas valoda PHP 7.1 un ietvars Laravel 5.4. Dati tiek glabāti MySQL savietojamā datu bāzē. Sistēma izstrādāta praktizējot DDD principu.

En el presente artículo se presentan cuatro claves de lectura de la obra de Thomas Hobbes desde las que fundamentar una noción de resistencia. Este aporte busca, en otras palabras, crear las condiciones de posibilidad de un debate filosófico ofuscado por el mito recurrente sobre el supuesto monstruo de Malmesbury. Una vez hecho esto, se propone delinear las bases de un enfoque metodológico que parta de dicha noción de resistencia.
