Artykuł omawia cywilizacyjny kontekst powstania animacji społeczno-kulturalnej i jej dawne uwarunkowania, wskazując na rozwój jej zadań i funkcji. Animacja to dziejąca się zmiana w grupach i społecznościach lokalnych, będąca nerwem demokracji i społeczeństwa obywatelskiego. Artykuł kończy uzasadnienie jej potrzeby w skomplikowanej sytuacji funkcjonowania człowieka w zglobalizowanym świecie.

Hazardous air pollutants and primary liver cancer in Texas.

The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the most common primary liver cancer, is increasing in the US and tripled during the past two decades. The reasons for such phenomenon remain poorly understood. Texas is among continental states with the highest incidence of liver cancer with an annual increment of 5.7%. Established risk factors for HCC include Hepatitis B and C (HBV, HCV) viral infection, alcohol, tobacco and suspected risk factors include obesity and diabetes. W artykule zaprezentowano sposób formułowania libertariańskiej koncepcji sprawiedliwości, opierając się na zmianie postrzegania podstawowych wartości: wolności i równości. Zarządzanie wartościami, poprzez zmianę ich pierwotnego znaczenia było jednym z kluczowych elementów w transformacji ustrojowej w obszarze polityki, społeczeństwa i gospodarki po II wojnie światowej. Zwrócono uwagę na różnice teoretyczne pierwotnych koncepcji oraz ich praktycznych emanacji w Stanach Zjednoczonych i przede wszystkim w Wielkiej Brytanii oraz w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej.

Multiparticle configurations of excited states in 155Lu

Excited states in the neutron-deficient N=84 nuclide 155Lu have been populated by using the 102Pd(58Ni,αp) reaction. The 155Lu nuclei were separated by using the gas-filled recoil ion transport unit (RITU) separator and implanted into the Si detectors of the gamma recoil electron alpha tagging (GREAT) spectrometer. Prompt γ-ray emissions measured at the target position using the JUROGAM Ge detector array were assigned to 155Lu through correlations with α decays measured in GREAT. Structures feeding the (11/2−) and (25/2−)α-decaying states have been revised and extended. Historiallisesti merirosvous on ollut ajoittain ja alueellisesti esiin nouseva ilmiö, joka ponnistaa paikallisista olosuhteista ja erityisesti heikosta hallinnosta maa-alueilla. Merirosvoukseen liittyvä kansainvälinen sopimusyhteistyö painottaa valtioiden suvereniteetin merkitystä omilla aluevesillään. The present study examined the development of mathematics skills of Kosovar primary school children in terms of their gender, living area, socio-economic status, and achievement level. A special emphasis was placed on longitudinal investigations of the development of mathemat-ics skills in children with learning difficulties in mathematics over a 2-year and 4-month period. Participants were 553 fourth-graders, 85 of whom identified with mathematical learning difficulties were classified into two subgroups: children with low mathematics achievement and children with limited mathematics ability.
