Comparación de psicopatología en pacientes dependientes de alcohol, de cocaína y policonsumidores

El presente estudio trata de evaluar la psicopatología y el perfil característico en policonsumidores de cocaína y alcohol (n=14), dependientes de alcohol (n=10) y dependientes de cocaína (n=11) que inician tratamiento ambulatorio. Se administraron un conjunto de pruebas: SCL-90-R, BDI, MCMI-III y la Escala de Impulsividad de Barrat. Los resultados muestran que los policonsumidores realizan una demanda de tratamiento más temprana y llevan menos años de consumo previo. Todos los grupos muestran una impulsividad elevada y sintomatología leve en depresión. En el presente trabajo se presenta la experiencia, en forma de taller con usuarios en PMM y policonsumidores activos, que tuvo lugar con usuarios del metabus y profesionales de AUPA'M con la finalidad de aproximarnos a la realidad de este colectivo a partir- de un modelo de trabajo centrado en los usuarios. Wschód chrześcijański jest niezwykle zróżnicowany. Niektóre Kościoły chrześcijańskiego Wschodu wypracowały rozbudowaną sztukę ikonograficzną wraz z teorią tej sztuki, a inne tego nie uczyniły. Kościół Konstantynopolitański wypracował wzorce w dziedzinie ikonografii, także maryjnej. Bizantyjskie ikony maryjne można podzielić na cztery grupy: (1) święta maryjne; (2) ikony teologiczne; (3) ikony symboliczne; (4) ikony liturgiczne. Cechą charakterystyczną ikon teologicznych jest skupienie się na więzi Maryi i Chrystusa (Boga). Do tych ikon należą typy: Kyriotissa, Hodegetria, Eleusa, Platytera. Does optimal partitioning of color space account for universal color categorization?

A 2007 study by Regier, Kay, and Khetarpal purports to show that universal categories emerge as a result of optimal partitioning of color space. Regier, Kay, and Khetarpal only consider color categorizations of up to six categories. However, in most industrialized societies eleven color categories are observed. This paper shows that when applied to the case of eleven categories, Regier, Kay, and Khetarpal's optimality criterion yields unsatisfactory results. Applications of the criterion to the intermediate cases of seven, eight, nine, and ten color categories are also briefly considered and are shown to yield mixed results. A wearable multimodal interface for exploring urban points of interest

Locating points of interest (POIs) in cities is typically facilitated by visual aids such as paper maps, brochures, and mobile applications. However, these techniques require visual attention, which ideally should be on the surroundings. Non-visual techniques for navigating towards specific POIs typically lack support for free exploration of the city or more detailed guidance. To overcome these issues, we propose a multimodal, wearable system for alerting the user of nearby recommended POIs. The system, built around a tactile glove, provides audio-tactile cues when a new POI is in the vicinity, and more detailed information and guidance if the user expresses interest in this POI.
