The paper presents a microsimulation approach for assessing the safety performance of turbo-roundabouts where Cooperative Autonomous Vehicles “CAVs” have been introduced into the traffic mix alongside conventional vehicles “CVs”. Based on the analysis of vehicle trajectories from VISSIM and subsequent analysis of traffic conflicts through the Surrogate Safety Assessment Model (SSAM), the research aims to evaluate the safety benefits of turbo-roundabouts where the lanes are physically separated by raised curbs, compared to roundabouts without such curbs. Demonstrating measure-correlate-predict algorithms for estimation of wind resources in central Finland

In this study, measure-correlate-predict (MCP) algorithms - Simple Linear Regression and Variance Ratio Methods - for predicting wind speed were studied. The MCP algorithms were successfully used to predict missing wind speeds at two sites in Jyväskylä and Viitasaari, respectively. These two algorithms used data from one of the site to predict missing wind speed data at the other site. The results obtained using the MCP methods were compared using metrics that showed the characteristics of the predicted data to be unbiased compared to measured data. Strictly correlated electrons approach to excitation energies of dissociating molecules

In this work we consider a numerically solvable model of a two-electron diatomic molecule to study a recently proposed approximation based on the density functional theory of so-called strictly correlated electrons (SCE). We map out the full two-particle wave function for a wide range of bond distances and interaction strengths and obtain analytic results for the two-particle states and eigenenergies in various limits of strong and weak interactions, and in the limit of large bond distance. Studia dualne to w krajach Europy Zachodniej niezwykle popularna forma kształcenia, która wychodzi naprzeciw oczekiwaniom pracodawców i studentów. Coraz częściej wzbudza zainteresowanie polskich firm i studentów. Dzięki studiom dualnym, czyli nauce w formie praktycznej, student po ukończeniu nauki jest w pełni przygotowany do pracy. Absolwenci, którzy w trakcie nauki zawodu byli zatrudnieni u pracodawcy, skuteczniej znajdują pracę, lepiej zarabiają, a co ważniejsze, szybciej awansują. W opracowaniu dokonano charakterystyki kształcenia dualnego w Polsce na tle innych krajów europejskich.
