The acts of arbitration courts, operating in Opole district since 1835, constitute an interesting source for the research of Silesian everyday village life in the nineteenth and twentieth century. The author, after having presented a short outline of the institution and its legal functioning, concentrates on specific cases lodged to peacemakers. The everyday life situations in the protocols present the interpersonal conflicts, usually concerning unimportant things, not being included in the criminal case catalogue. International audience; Dans un colloque consacré aux récits de maquerellage et proxénétisme dans la littérature médiévale, cette communication tente l'analyse historique de ce phénomène social à partir de quelques registres judiciaires ou de papiers de police appartenant aux archives de Dijon. On y découvre plus de maquerelles que de maquereaux. Occasionnelles ou professionnelles , ces entremetteuses dévoilent une société intermédiaire où la femme délinquante et la femme victime se rejoignent dans une même condamnation morale et une pareille exclusion sociale.

Ilse Langner's drama "Iphigenie und Orest (1977 manuscript) pivots on a historical sequence of events: war, rescue and exile, merciless revenge after the war. Why is the plot set in a Greek mythological setting? The use of myth considerably extends the frame of references, which in turn necessarily surpasses documentary correctness. The dramatist already provided a world model to the dramatist of the Atreidean myth, which focuses on basic questions of violence-stricken human existence (while Goethe formed Iphigenie as a model of humanitarianism that overcomes violence). Langner's Anti-Iphigenie shows the spiral of violence as a challenge for the post-idealist 20th century.

El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el ajuste psicosocial en los adolescentes víctimas de violencia de pareja, considerando posibles diferencias en función de la frecuencia de la victimización y del sexo de los adolescentes. Los indicadores del ajuste psicológico y social analizados son el ánimo depresivo, los sentimientos de soledad, el autoconcepto, la satisfacción con la vida y la calidad de la comunicación con el padre y la madre. Participaron 672 adolescentes españoles (325 chicas, 347 chicos), entre 12 y 19 años (M = 14.45; DT = 1.62). Syncytial mutations of herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) strains ANG, ANG path, HFEM, tsB5 and HSZP cause extensive cell fusion and were mapped to the cytoplasmic domain of glycoprotein B (gB), within the syn 3 locus. These strains are so far the only ones which show the phenotype ‘fusion from without’ (FFWO): 60 min after infection with high m.o.i., cells in a tissue culture are fused without transcription and translation of the viral genome.
