Early and Later Predictors of Outcome in Brief Therapy: The Role of Real Relationship

Objectives: The study examined whether clients who continued longer in brief therapy reported stronger associations of real relationship and working alliance with therapy outcome than clients who received very brief treatment. It also examined whether real relationship and working alliance assessed early in treatment predicted outcome differently from that assessed later in therapy. Method: Fifty clients (32 women; Mage = 22.3 years) were recruited from a university counseling center. Many European families are affected by the 24/7 economy, but relatively little is known about how working parents experience nonstandard hours. The aim of this study was to analyze the possible associations of dual earners’ work schedules and other work-related factors with their experience of time- and strain-based work–family conflict. These phenomena were examined among dual earners living in Finland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, countries that differ in working time practices and policies. The current premise in the enterprise architecture (EA) literature is that business architecture defines all other EA architecture layers; information architecture, information systems architecture, and technology architecture. In this paper, we will study the ICT-cooperation between eight small and mid-sized municipalities and cities in Southern Finland.
