Ideal types of online shoppers : a qualitative analysis of online shopping behavior

Due to the growing popularity of online shopping, there is a growing demand for understanding the motives and behaviour of online shoppers. This study aims to increase this understanding by examining online shopping behaviour from the perspective of UTAUT2 theory integrated with self-efficacy and risk avoidance components. The thematically analysed data from 31 participants highlights the unique aspects of online shoppers by grouping them into ideal types, presenting the data as extensively as possible. Rethinking Political Representation from the Perspective of Rhetorical Genres

This article is a thought experiment. It constructs ideal types of political representation in the sense of Max Weber. Inspired by Quentin Skinner and others, the aim is to give a rhetorical turn to contemporary debates on representation. The core idea is to claim an ‘elective affinity’ (Wahlverwandschaft, as Weber says following Goethe) between forms of representation and rhetorical genres of their justification. Este texto tiene por objeto estudiar la reconstrucción del modelo de familia troncal a través de la memoria de personas que forman parte de la última generación que ha vivido su pleno funcionamiento de forma más o menos directa, en la comarca castellonense de Els Ports de Morella. Se realiza una síntesis de dicho modelo como tipo ideal, para posteriormente profundizar, en primer lugar, en los discursos sobre prácticas que se ajustan a aquel patrón y, en segundo lugar, en algunos elementos de tensión que surgen de su aplicación como instrumento de interpretación de la realidad.
