LE VIGNOBLE DU COUCHOIS : "ET SI L'HISTOIRE PARLAIT DE SON RENOUVEAU"
2022
2021
The document proposes a methodological device and some theoretical approaches to build a sociology of clinical practices in the "poles" (basic territorial units) of adult public psychiatry in France, based on a qualitative and quantitative exploratory survey in seven sites. It shows that the territorial offer of care presents aspects of homogenization throughout France: a decline of psychotherapies in favour of a myriad of "psychic interventions", the generalized development of eclecticism and pragmatism. However, the range of care on offer remains diversified both technically and ethically. In addition to the history of each site and the ideology of its leader, these differences are relate…

Ethical issues in the teaching and learning of health topics in schools: the conceptions of teacher trainees
2013
There has been little research on how teacher trainees can be educated to deal with ethical issues, or on trainees' conceptions of these issues. Using written essays, this study aimed to examine health education teacher trainees' (N = 35) conceptions of the ethical aspects involved in teaching and learning health topics. A qualitative content analysis revealed three broad themes: health education as an ethical subject, the teacher as an ethical professional, and spaces for learning. The results reflect the content areas focused on in health education teacher training, and provide new insights into topics that can be useful in developing teacher training. peerReviewed

It is emp…
The Work of Hermeneutic Phenomenology
2020
This paper is an illustration of the application of a hermeneutic phenomenological study. The theory of meaning and interpretation, drawing on philosophical hermeneutics and the work of Gadamer and Heidegger, and its alignment with phenomenological thought is presented. The paper explains and aims to make visible how key concerns in relation to the fusion of horizons, hermeneutic understanding, hermeneutic circle and hermeneutic phenomenological attitude were implemented. The purpose is to provide practical guidance and illustrate a fully worked up example of hermeneutic phenomenological work as research praxis. This present paper makes a case that hermeneutic phenomenological work is deta…

The article starts from a conception of language according to which the semiotic units that speakers use do not emanate from individual mental processes but from the socialization of representation instruments which, being individual elements initially, have later been involved in processes of communicative circulation. In the same way that, in each language, verbal uses are limited by a series of restrictions in the constitution of some phonic, lexical or morphosyntactic structures, there are also some other constraints that affect textual genres. This means that these are the product of the history of the uses of language and that they work at a praxeologic level. These ideas apply to the…
