Heterogeneous contributions of change in population distribution of body mass index to change in obesity and underweight

From 1985 to 2016, the prevalence of underweight decreased, and that of obesity and severe obesity increased, in most regions, with significant variation in the magnitude of these changes across regions. We investigated how much change in mean body mass index (BMI) explains changes in the prevalence of underweight, obesity, and severe obesity in different regions using data from 2896 population-based studies with 187 million participants. Changes in the prevalence of underweight and total obesity, and to a lesser extent severe obesity, are largely driven by shifts in the distribution of BMI, with smaller contributions from changes in the shape of the distribution. La pandemia de la COVID-19 está impactando en la salud emocional de los adolescentes. Factores como la resiliencia pueden amortiguar este importante impacto sobre su bienestar. Nuestro objetivo fue estudiar la asociación entre la sintomatología ansioso-depresiva y la resiliencia en adolescentes de España y Ecuador, y comparar las diferencias existentes entre ambas muestras. Participaron 476 adolescentes (70,10 % mujeres) entre 9 y 18 años (M = 15,62; DT = 1,22), distribuidos por igual entre ambos países. Antecedentes/Objetivos: Hay pocos estudios que analicen los factores que influyen sobre el factor de impacto bibliométrico de una revista y las notas de prensa son uno de estos factores. Se presenta un análisis del impacto en las citas recibidas por los artículos objeto de una nota de prensa elaborada desde Gaceta Sanitaria. Métodos: Se elaboró una base de datos con todos los artículos publicados en Gaceta Sanitaria entre 2007 y 2011. Samples of airborne particulate were collected at the “El Ingenio” site in Castellón (Spain) using a cascade impactor sampler. Quantitative analysis of present phases in the aerosol was performed using the full-pattern fitting Rietveld method. Quantitative information was obtained from refined individual scale factors and unit-cell volumes, obtained with a Rietveld refinement program. Quartz, calcite, and gypsum were encountered as major phases, and their size distribution and concentration in the atmosphere were calculated.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the evolution between 2009 and 2010 of residents of Tarragona's perceptions of the importance, impact and expected benefits of hosting the 2017 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona. A questionnaire was administered to two random samples of residents of Tarragona one year apart. The results showed high percentages of people who felt that this sporting event is either quite important or very important from an economic, social and sporting perspective and that it also has a high local and regional impact, albeit not so much at a national or international level. Purpose: To analyze the coverage and main bibliometric indicators of Anales de Pediatría in Scopus and Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science (SCIE) databases. Material and method: The evolution of the journal production was identified according to the document types, collaboration indexes between authors and institutions, and citations, and impact indicators (number of citations, impact factor, 5-years impact factor and without self-citations, Scimago Journal Rank, quartile, h-index and most cited works).
