Teachers' self-efficacy and the sources of efficacy: A cross-cultural investigation in Japan and Finland

The study explores the extent and sources of Teachers’ Self-Efficacy (TSE) for inclusive practices among 261 Japanese and 1123 Finnish teachers. Measurement invariance was tested to ensure the chosen scales’ cross-cultural validity. In both countries, mastery experience was identified as the strongest of the four sources contributing uniquely to TSE. However, the two groups differed in how verbal persuasion predicted TSE. The findings indicate that the effects of the four sources on TSE depend strongly on sociocultural context, and that, in Japan, other sources may exert a powerful influence. Abstract Previous research suggests that individual differences play an essential role in the complex process of organisational stress. The mediator role of specific individual differences and coping strategies, in the stressor – strain (effect) relationship is investigated in the present research. One sample of romanian employees (N=311) from an administrative-public service organisation participated in the study. Mourning Missing Migrants: Ambiguous Loss and the Grief of Strangers

While the term missing refers to various instances and practices, we focus on the bodies of deceased migrants that remain unidentified, and on the inability of families to mourn someone when there is no body to grieve for. We deploy some ethnographic fragments of how Italian communities sometimes mourn those who are buried without a name and we describe the many problems of mourning someone whose fate is unknown through a discussion of the notion of ‘ambiguous loss’. Our contribution articulates some of the politics around deaths in migration by considering how missing migrants and their bodies are mourned in multiplicity. peerReviewed

Based on an ethnographic approach, this paper explores how members of a new age spiritual movement known as ?Llave Mariana? (LLM) build and experience their bodies. At the same time, it develops a thick description of their ritual practices and later it analyzes, delving fundamentally into the phenomenological perspective, how these members shape and transform their forms of self-perception, experience, and representation of others and the environment. Considering that it is difficult, if not impossible, for an analysis of Chopin?s music to unmask some aspects of his private life (such as an alleged sexual and affective attraction for individuals of his own sex), we can however argue that, throughout the 19th century, a connection was established between his work and a ?feminine universe.? That connection might have had implications in the way in which the feminized image of its author was constructed. The analysis of certain aesthetic and stylistic traits of Chopin?s music can help understand the causes of that perception.

The essay examines the role of the agreement as a tool for managing property relationships in crossborder marriages and registered partnerships, in light of EU Regulations 1103 and 1104 of 2016, on the property regimes of international married or registered couples. The main prerogative of such acts is the recognition of the parties? freedom to choose the court and the applicable law. The law governing the matrimonial property regimes, or the property consequences of registered partnerships, has universal scope.
