On some classes of supersoluble groups

[EN] Finite groups G for which for every subgroup H and for all primes q dividing the index |G:H| there exists a subgroup K of G such that H is contained in K and |K:H|=q are called Y-groups. Groups in which subnormal subgroups permute with all Sylow subgroups are called PST-groups. In this paper a local version of the Y-property leading to a local characterisation of Y-groups, from which the classical characterisation emerges, is introduced. The relationship between PST-groups and Y-groups is also analysed.

We give a complete classification of the finite groups with a unique subgroup of order p for each prime p dividing its order. All the groups considered in this paper will be finite. One of the most fruitful lines in the research in abstract group theory during the last years has been the study of groups in which the members of a certain family of subgroups satisfy a certain subgroup embedding property. The family of the subgroups of prime order (also called minimal subgroups) has attracted the interest of many mathematicians. Cancer is a condition that can increase the risk of frailty. In addition, palliative oncological patients in home hospitalization can find their activities of daily living affected. The main objective was to measure the degree of frailty in the oncological population in home hospitalization comparing Barthel and Frail-VIG Indexes. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study. This paper focuses on algorithms and data structures for the filtering phase in seed-based heuristics, with an emphasis on efficient parallel GPU/manycores implementa- tion. We propose a 2-stage index structure which is based on neighborhood indexing and perfect hashing techniques. In this work we introduce a model for studying the distribution and control of atmospheric pollution from PM10. The model is based on the use of a cellular neural network (CNN) and more precisely on the integration of the mass-balance equation; at the same time it simulates the scenario regarding a planar grid describing the whole studied area (the city of Palermo) by means of a CNN and a set of Bayesian networks. Apikālais periodontīts (AP) ir izplatīta hroniska iekaisuma slimība, kas izpaužas kā dinamiska organisma aizsargreakcija pret mikrobu infekciju zobu sakņu kanālu sistēmā. Pētījumi liecina, ka AP ir plaši izplatīts pieaugušajiem - vismaz viens zobs ar AP ir 27 - 80% pieaugušo (Kirkevang & Vaeth, 2019). AP ir tieša saistība ar sakņu kanālu ārstēšanas kvalitāti – nekvalitatīva ārstēšana tiek saistīta ar palielinātu AP izplatību (Chala et al., 2011; Meirinhos et al., 2020). Darba mērķis bija izpētīt apikālā periodontīta izplatību un endodontiskās ārstēšanas biežumu un kvalitāti izvēlētā Latvijas pieaugušo populācijā.

We present a new class of binary words: the prefix normal words. They are defined by the property that for any given length $k$, no factor of length $k$ has more $a$'s than the prefix of the same length. These words arise in the context of indexing for jumbled pattern matching (a.k.a. permutation matching or Parikh vector matching), where the aim is to decide whether a string has a factor with a given multiplicity of characters, i.e., with a given Parikh vector.
