Santo Dominguito de Val: La ?tradición? como arma arrojadiza a disposición de los poderes establecidos

2019

This study focuses, from a short story of the blood libel of Saint Dominguito de Val, on answering the questions of when and why the ?tradition? was made about this saint, and the specific moments of his Revitalization until the end of the 17th century. Although the short story of the death of this infant has been occupied by the most diverse writers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, we take as reference the master Espés and the chroniclers Blancas, Andrés de Uztarroz and Dormer.

CONGENITAL UNILATERAL URETEROPELVIC JUNCTION OBSTRUCTION:RENAL DAMAGE EVALUATION AND CORRELATION BETWEEN RENAL BIOPSY AND PRE-POSTOPERATIVE RADIONUCL…

2011

PURPOSE to correlate severity of UPJO with immunohistochemical findings and radionuclide renal scan split function (SF), to obtain indications and timing of surgical correction of congenital UPJO. MATERIAL AND METHODS 21 patients, 57-105 days old, were studied. UPJO was assessed by MAG 3 diuretic renography. Patients underwent biopsy at pyeloplasty. Histological and himmunoistochemical analysis for Bcl-KL, Bcl2, AKT-1, BAD, Bax, AIF, FAS FAS-L, H-TERT, Mib-1 and Nocth2 was performed. TUNEL technique was used to detect apoptotic nuclei. Severity of UPJO was assessed intraoperatively and histologically. Renography was repeated one year after surgery. RESULTS All patients showed half-time wash…

A combination of umbilical artery PI and normalized blood flow volume in the umbilical vein: Venous–arterial index for the prediction of fetal outcome

2008

Abstract Objective The objective was to assess the diagnostic power of the umbilical venous–arterial index (VAI) as a combination of the pulsatility index in the umbilical artery and the normalized blood flow volume in the umbilical vein for the prediction of poor fetal outcome. Study design This was a prospective clinical study in which the umbilical artery PI (UAPI), the normalized umbilical vein blood volume flow rate ( n UV; ml/min/kg estimated fetal body weight), the venous–arterial index (VAI; n UV/UAPI), and the pulsatility index (PI) in the umbilical artery (UA), uterine artery (utA), middle cerebral artery (MCA), and aorta were determined in 181 fetuses once (at between 17 and 41 w…

Urban environment and cognitive and motor function in children from four European birth cohorts

2021

[EN]Background: The urban environment may influence neurodevelopment from conception onwards, but there is no evaluation of the impact of multiple groups of exposures simultaneously. We investigated the association between early-life urban environment and cognitive and motor function in children. Methods: We used data from 5403 mother-child pairs from four population-based birth-cohorts (UK, France, Spain, and Greece). We estimated thirteen urban home exposures during pregnancy and childhood, including: built environment, natural spaces, and air pollution. Verbal, non-verbal, gross motor, and fine motor functions were assessed using validated tests at five years old. We ran adjusted multi-e…

Sleep patterns and psychosocial health of parents of preterm and full-born infants: a prospective, comparative, longitudinal feasibility study

2022

Abstract Background The early birth and hospitalization of a preterm infant in neonatal intensive care unit can produce several emotional and behavioural responses including sleep problems for parents. Few studies have explored sleep and its associations with health and HRQoL over time in this vulnerable parent population. This purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of a prospective, comparative, longitudinal study of the sleep patterns and psychosocial health of preterm and full-born infants’ parents during the first postpartum year. Methods A prospective, comparative, longitudinal feasibility study was conducted. Parents of preterm infants were compared to parents of full-b…

Effects of repeated exposure on acceptance of initially disliked vegetables in 7-month old infants

2007

Publication Inra prise en compte dans l'analyse bibliométrique des publications scientifiques mondiales sur les Fruits, les Légumes et la Pomme de terre. Période 2000-2012. http://prodinra.inra.fr/record/256699; International audience; In the weeks following the start of weaning, 70 mothers were asked to identify a vegetable purée that their infant disliked and that they normally would not offer again. The 49 who did so were then asked to offer that vegetable on alternate days for 16 days, and to offer a well-liked one (carrot purée) on the other days. Amount eaten and acceptance were measured at each meal. On the first day of exposure, mean intake of the initially disliked vegetable was 39…
