Internalizing symptoms in children affected by childhood absence epilepsy: A preliminary study

Introduction: Childhood absence epilepsy (CAE) is a common type of pediatric idiopathic generalized epilepsy, characterized by multiple seizures of typical absence, with typical EEG pattern consisting in bilateral synchronous and symmetrical discharges of generalized 3 Hz spike-wave (SWDs). Recently, some researchers have suggested that the underlying epileptogenic mechanism of absence seizures selectively involves the frontal cortical circuits, also supported by video-electroencephalography data(3). Las películas de animación infantilen la actualidad: El hombre como contraejemplo

En las propuestas actuales de animación infantil se detecta cierto peso de los personajes masculinos en la formación de las protagonistas. La presente aportación se pre- gunta en qué medida ello se produce como modelo contrapuesto a los roles femeninos. Del análisis de la película de Disney Tiana y el sapo se concluye que la gura paterna se erige como ejemplar en contraposición a la de la madre, pero también a la del resto de personajes masculinos, cuyo modelo de conducta se rechaza explícitamente, en especial el príncipe Naveen. However, little research has been done into what content is taught, how it is taught and what pupils actually learn at the pre-primary stage. In this paper, we will study student teachers' perception about what science teaching is being carried out in Second Cycle of Childhood Education classrooms (3-4-5 years). Introduction: Worster-Drought syndrome (WDS) consists of a congenital pseudobulbar palsy and is usually associated with spastic tetraplegia, learning impairment, behavioural problems, and epilepsy. Congenital bilateral perisylvian syndrome (CBPS) is characterized by bilateral perisylvian polymicrogyria on imaging. Aim: to analyze the evolution of the response to persistent partial ureteral obstruction (PUO) and obstruction/release (PUO/Rel) in mice with 50% reduction in the number of nephrons from 21 days of age (time of weaning) to 42 days of age (adulthood). Methods: C57/BL6 wild-type (WT) and mice with oligosyndactylism and 50% reduction of nephron number (Os/+), were subjected to sham operation or PUO in the first 2 days of life.
