Some nutraceuticals have been studied as supportive treatment for fighting upper respiratory tract infection and middle ear disease. Our study aims at evaluating the effect of a specific oral supplementation in the treatment of pediatric otits media. The subjects were randomly assigned by the physician (single-blinded study) to one of three groups: Control Group (CG), Treatment Group 1 (TG1), or Treatment Group 2 (TG2). W artykule omówiono – na przykładzie Uniwersytetu Opolskiego – trzy obszary działalności informacyjnej oraz komunikacji naukowej na podstawie sieciowego obiegu informacji z wykorzystaniem sieci Internet – udostępnianie światowych baz danych w ramach tzw. licencji krajowych, uczelnianych repozytoriów instytucjonalnych oraz realizowanie polityki otwartego dostępu. Obszary tej działalności należą obecnie do strategicznych zadań zespołów, które odpowiadają za zarządzanie dostępem do informacji naukowej.

The investigation of bone injuries is an essential topic in forensics. We sometimes have to deal with charred or dismembered human remains that have lost soft tissue, making it difficult to diagnose the mechanisms of injury that led to death. Our contribution aims to share with the scientific community how we approached two cases of very different bone injuries and the techniques used to differentiate relevant pathology findings of bone fragments.
