It is worth noting that the importance of democracy is permanent. There are permanent institutions of democracy, for example a local referendum. This means that the local authority asks citizens what they think about important matters. It is important to properly regulate it, because it is the basis of the state’s system. Democracy without a referendum is dangerous because it is not real.
Salinity affects nitrate removal and microbial composition of denitrifying woodchip bioreactors treating recirculating aquaculture system effluents

Abstract This study investigated the effect of salinity on microbial composition and denitrification capacity of woodchip bioreactors treating recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) effluents. Twelve laboratory-scale woodchip bioreactors were run in triplicates at 0, 15, 25, and 35 ppt salinities, and water chemistry was monitored every third day during the first 39 days of operation. Microbial communities of the woodchips bioreactors were analyzed at the start, after one week, and at the end of the trial. Woodchip bioreactors removed nitrate at all salinities tested. Synthesis and characterization of ethylene-1-hexene copolymers prepared by using MgCl2(THF)2-supported Ziegler-Natta catalysts

Ethylene was copolymerized with 1-hexene over vanadium (VOCl3 and VCl4) and titanium (TiCl4) catalysts supported on MgCl2(THF)2 and activated with Et2AlCl. So far these catalyst systems have not been known as initiators of ethylene-1-hexene copolymerization. The vanadium catalysts were more active than the titanium catalyst and, at identical comonomer concentrations in the feed, gave rise to a greater incorporation of 1-hexene into the copolymer. Even at relatively low fractions of 1-hexene, the MgCl2(THF)2-supported catalysts affected much the copolymer properties like density, melting point and crystallinity.

International audience; In this paper we study cognitive conflicts on the issue of number sets being dense, ordered and denumerable. We first provide historical-epistemological background related to these notions. Then we consider the cognitive conflicts under the lenses of concept image and concept definition, which we use to analyse empirical data collected in order to understand better the didactical and cognitive issues at stake.

This article explores the methodological and ethical issues that arise from ethnographic research in sexual practices in the study of non-normative sexualities. It explores the researcher as a subject in the research as well as doing the research. Taking a queer approach, it identifies key themes and issues that the reflexive researcher faces when in the field.

KOBILDA pilna teikuma definēšanas stils kļuva par pavērsienu vārdnīcu pasaulē, piedāvājot pilnīgi jaunu pieeju vārdnīcu rakstīšanai. Tādējādi bakalaura darbā ir iekļauti secinājumi, kas atspoguļo lietotāju attieksmi pret KOBILDA definīciju. Darba empīriskā pētījuma metode ir gadījumu izpēte, datu vākšanas tehnika – aptaujas anketēšana, kas ir analizēta no kvalitatīvā un kvantitatīvā viedokļa. Semigenerated Carnot algebras and applications to sub-Riemannian perimeter

This paper contributes to the study of sets of finite intrinsic perimeter in Carnot groups. Our intent is to characterize in which groups the only sets with constant intrinsic normal are the vertical half-spaces. Our viewpoint is algebraic: such a phenomenon happens if and only if the semigroup generated by each horizontal half-space is a vertical half-space. We call semigenerated those Carnot groups with this property. For Carnot groups of nilpotency step 3 we provide a complete characterization of semigeneration in terms of whether such groups do not have any Engel-type quotients. A new (ethylenediamine-N,N′)-(diethylenetriamine-N,N′,N″)-copper(II) hexafluoridosilicate complex, [Cu(eda)(deta)]SiF6 (1) (eda – ethylenediamine; deta – diethylenetriamine), was synthesized by direct interaction of anhydrous CuSiF6 with polyethylenepolyamine (pepa – H2N[C2H4NH]nH, where n = 1 (eda) and 2 (deta)). The crystals of 1 were characterized by IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 consists of SiF62− discrete anions and [Cu(eda)(deta)]2+ complex cations whose Cu2+ ions are chelated by eda and deta.
