Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la incidencia del desarrollo sostenible sobre la cadena de efectos: valor percibido - capital de marca - lealtad. Para ello, se propone un modelo teórico de relaciones que se contrasta a partir de una muestra de 317 clientes de hiper mercados en Ecuador. Los resultados, aplicando una metodología exploratoria y confirmatoria, combinada con regresión por mínimos cuadrados parciales, mostraron que tanto las acciones de desarrollo sostenible como el valor percibido son pilares maestros sobre los que se puede apoyar la estrategia minorista. This paper analyzes the relationship between Research and Innovation in Science Teaching, showing a worrying disconnection of both activities. Two possible causes of this situation are considered: firstly, most teachers don¿t pay attention to science education research and even ignore the specific journals where this research is published; and secondly, researchers view innovation as mere application of research. As a result of these analyses, some proposals are advanced in order to make research more useful to improve science teaching and learning.

Applying data driven decision making to rank vocational and educational training programs with TOPSIS

Abstract In this paper we present a multi-criteria classification of Vocational and Educational Programs in Extremadura (Spain) during the period 2009–2016. This ranking has been carried out through the integration into a complete database of the detailed information of individuals finishing such studies together with their labor data. The multicriteria method used is TOPSIS together with a new decision support method for assessing the influence of each criterion and its dependence on the weights assigned to them. This new method is based on a worst-best case scenario analysis and it is compared to a well known global sensitivity analysis technique based on the Pearson's correlation ratio.
