The objective of this study was to test if the Norwegian version of the nutritional screening instrument entitled Nutritional Form for the Elderly (NUFFE-NO) demonstrates sufficient evidence of reliability and validity, including sensitivity and specificity, when applied to a select group of elderly hospital patients. The hypothesis was that NUFFE-NO has sufficient psychometric properties to be used as a screening instrument. Stress blant jenter ser ut til å være knyttet til press om å gjøre det bra på skolen og er videre relatert til psykiske plager. I denne artikkelen undersøker vi hvordan skolestress arter seg i unge jenters hverdagsliv, og hvilke institusjonelle prosesser jentenes erfaringer inngår i. Vi tar utgangspunkt i 22 intervjuer med 10 jenter på 10. trinn fra skoler i Norge og beskriver vurderingsarbeid – deres tankearbeid og gjøremål som er knyttet til testing, vurdering og individuell forbedring. This dissertation examines the impact that the materiality of institutions has on patients and staff. Fieldwork has been carried out at five district psychiatric centres (Distriktspsykiatriske sentra, DPS) that were originally built as tuberculosis institutions. The patients’ and employees’ experiences of being present in the physical and social space of these institutions has been examined, interpreted and reflected upon. The paper provides knowledge about the significance institutions’ materiality and inner life has on the informants, and how the informants influence the materiality.
