In classroom settings, laughter and smiles are resources for action that are available to both teachers and students. Recent interactional studies have documented how students use these resources to deal with trouble of various kind, but less is known about the sequential and activity contexts of teachers’ laughter-relevant practices, as well as their pedagogical functions. The modelling of the magnetic losses in the core of ferrite inductors for power conversion circuits has been considered in this paper. On the basis of the Revised Generalized Steinmetz Model (RGSE) an equivalent circuital modelling has been obtained. The losses are modelled as an equivalent resistance connected in parallel to the inductor. The model has been tested under periodic triangular current waveforms.

This paper deals with qualitative properties ( existence, uniqueness, and especially, stability) and numerical solution of a circuit consisting of a resistive multiport with r-c-g "exactly modeled" distributed elements connected to its terminals. This kind of results are useful, for instance, when we study the effect of interconnections on the speed of transient process from an integrated structure. A formula to evaluate the delay time as a global parameter of the circuit is given and verified by numerical calculus. peerReviewed

Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan englanninkielipainotteisessa sisätauti-kirurgisessa koulutusohjelmassa opiskelleiden sairaanhoidon opiskelijoiden ammatillista suullista englannin kielen taitoa. Des d'un context universitari d'adaptació a l'Espai Europeu d'Educació Superior i tenint en compte que ens trobem en una comunitat bilingüe, els objectius comuns principals de las nostras programaciós han estat: contrarestar l'excessiva fragmentació entre les matèries lingüístiques, promoure la reflexió sobre la presa de consciència de la diversitat lingüística i cultural, fomentar l'aplicació de les TIC i potenciar el treball col.laboratiu.
