Teacher smiles as an interactional and pedagogical resource in the classroom

In classroom settings, laughter and smiles are resources for action that are available to both teachers and students. Recent interactional studies have documented how students use these resources to deal with trouble of various kind, but less is known about the sequential and activity contexts of teachers’ laughter-relevant practices, as well as their pedagogical functions. Equivalent Circuit Modelling of Ferrite Inductors Losses

The modelling of the magnetic losses in the core of ferrite inductors for power conversion circuits has been considered in this paper. On the basis of the Revised Generalized Steinmetz Model (RGSE) an equivalent circuital modelling has been obtained. The losses are modelled as an equivalent resistance connected in parallel to the inductor. The model has been tested under periodic triangular current waveforms.

A Theory of electrical circuits with resistively coupled distributed structures : Delay time predicting

This paper deals with qualitative properties ( existence, uniqueness, and especially, stability) and numerical solution of a circuit consisting of a resistive multiport with r-c-g "exactly modeled" distributed elements connected to its terminals. This kind of results are useful, for instance, when we study the effect of interconnections on the speed of transient process from an integrated structure. A formula to evaluate the delay time as a global parameter of the circuit is given and verified by numerical calculus. peerReviewed

Presentem les activitats conjuntes dutes a terme al 2n curs de formació de mestres (Llengua estrangera) per a les assignatures de Lingüística i Llengua espanyola a la Universitat de Santiago de Compostela.
