The term metropolis has a double meaning: it indicates the motherland in the colonialist historical movement and, at the same time, the urban conglomerate that characterizes our postmodernity. Työn teoriaosuudessa käsitellään kulttuurienvälisen viestinnän ja monimuotoisuuden johtamisen teoriaa sekä monikulttuurisuutta ja työperäistä maahanmuuttoa Suomessa ja Etelä-Pohjanmaalla. In this study the topic of sexual communication, satisfaction, and accommodation in intercultural relationships is examined. Intercultural couples are in need of more attention in scholarly research, especially on the topic of sexual communication. This study aims to bring the topic into clear view.
