Women’s teaching in the Roman Hispania: Guess unfounded

In Mérida remains a nice funerary stela dedicated to a young girl. For many years the interpretation was that it means a dedication of a teacher to her disciple and therefore a unique example of women teaching in Hispania was imposed. Although this view is still ruled today remains in various studies that false belief. The reality is that there is no evidence that women, except of certain situations associated with the formation of the slaves, developed an educational activity in Rome. This circumstance remained with the triumph of Christianity. Hispania was no exception in the Roman world.
Proton shape fluctuation and its relation to DIS

We review the recent progress in extracting the proton fluctuating substructure by studying exclusive processes at HERA, and the applications of these developments in the interpretation of the LHC heavy ion data. The possibilities to extract the proton geometry directly from the LHC high-multiplicity proton-nucleus and proton-proton collision data is also discussed. peerReviewed

The redrawing of Église pour Bologne wants to reconstruct the path that those ‘eyes’ had seen to fornent knowledge of an architecture of which remain few graphics clues.

Jonah 1:13 has a delaying function in the narrative, introducing a pause between Jonah’s demand to be thrown in the sea (1:12) and the event’s occurrence (1:15). Most commentators discuss only the events of 1:13 and their causes. In this article, I suggest an interpretation of Jonah 1:13 based on the imagery of the narrative. An analysis of the use of metaphors and symbols does not replace the message of the verse; such an analysis simply augments it with motives of the seamen’s conversion. The first is popular words often used in everyday life, and the second group in this conditional classification covers terminological religious vocabulary of a thematic nature, ranging from purely material, subject, cult concepts, and ending with philosophical and theological concepts. The structure of the Chapter is as follows. In Section 2 I discuss some of the factors that may have played a role in causing the crisis and emphasise that supporters of different economic theories will assign different weights to each factor in their analyses. As a consequence, suggested economic policies are highly sensitive to the economic theory employed in evaluating the set of causes. In Section 3 I seek to defend economists from the common charge that their inability to foresee the crisis is a clear sign of the lack of scientific status of their discipline.
