Il contributo si concentra sulla disciplina penale italiana in materia di segreto commerciale, e ha l’intento di verificare se la recente riforma legislativa (D. Lgs. n. 63/2018) sia riuscita a conformare l’ordinamento domestico alle moderne istanze della data-driven economy. La novella ha modificato la struttura e l’oggetto di tutela dell’art. 623 c.p., e ha comportato inoltre un avvicinamento della disciplina penale al sistema di tutela civilistico predisposto dal codice della proprietà industriale (art. 98 c.p.i.). Using SOM and PCA for analysing and interpreting data from a P-removal SBR

This paper focuses on the application of Kohonen self-organizing maps (SOM) and principal component analysis (PCA) to thoroughly analyse and interpret multidimensional data from a biological process. The process is aimed at enhanced biological phosphorus removal (EBPR) from wastewater. In this work, SOM and PCA are firstly applied to the data set in order to identify and analyse the relationships among the variables in the process. Afterwards, K-means algorithm is used to find out how the observations can be grouped, on the basis of their similarity, in different classes. Artificial neural network applied to the discrimination of antibacterial activity by topological methods

Abstract A new topological method that makes it possible to discriminate the active and inactive molecules on the basis of their chemical structures is applied in the present study to the antibacterial agents. This method uses neural networks in which training algorithms are used as well as different concepts and methods of artificial intelligence with a suitable set of topological descriptors. It is possible to obtain a QSAR interpretation of the information contained in the network after the training has been carried out.
