Objectives Endoscopic ultrasound through-the-needle biopsy (EUS-TTNB) is a useful tool for differential diagnosis among pancreatic cystic lesions (PCLs). Cystic fluid cytology (CFC) is recommended by guidelines, but its diagnostic accuracy is about 50%. The aim of this meta-analysis is to assess the clinical impact of EUS-TTNB in terms of technical success (TS), histological accuracy (HA) and diagnostic yield (DY). Methods Original studies in English language on EUS-TTNB were searched in MEDLINE and EMBASE until October 2019. Extended HSUPA coverage and enhanced battery saving opportunities with multiple TTI lengths

3GPP has specified that terminals can be configured to use either 2 or 10 ms transmission time interval in high speed uplink packet access systems. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the benefit of exploiting a mixture of both of the transmissions time intervals within a cell instead of only one. The study is quantified by means of studying the achievable coverage of voice over IP and possible battery saving benefits. The analysis is conducted with a system level simulator modeling network and terminal behavior in detail. The paper indicates that utilizing a mixture of both transmission time intervals can extend coverage whilst providing enhanced battery saving opportunities.

This paper presents a new procedure to evaluate the global heat transfer coefficient in orthogonal cutting. The knowledge of the actual heat transfer conditions is a fundamental issue as far as the life, tool wear and tool substitution interval are regarded. Steering dynamical systems with finite plans and limited path length

Complex dynamical systems can be steered by using symbolic input plans. These plans must have a finite descriptive length, and can be expressed by means of words chosen in an alphabet of symbols. In this way, such plans can be sent through a limited capacity channel to a remote system, where they are decoded in suitable control actions. We describe application of multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedure for siting a waste storage area. The world’s largest biofuel-based combined heat and power (CHP) plant was built in Pietarsaari, Finland. Speed Stochastic Processes and Freeway Reliability Estimation: Evidence from the A22 Freeway, Italy

In this paper, a criterion for predicting the reliability of freeway traffic flow is presented. The idea is based on an analysis of spot speed time series divided into sequences of events of random and homogeneous traffic processes. For each process, the flow rate and density were calculated; then the relationships between parameters of spot speed processes and vehicular density were obtained.
