Comparisons of two diaphragm ultrasound-teaching programs: a multicenter randomized controlled educational study

Abstract Background This study aims to ascertain whether (1) an educational program is sufficient to achieve adequate Diaphragm Ultrasound (DUS) assessments on healthy volunteers and (2) combining a video tutorial with a practical session is more effective in making learners capable to obtain accurate DUS measurements, as opposed to sole video tutorial. Results We enrolledstep 1: 172 volunteers naïve to ultrasound. AbstractCystic renal lesions are a common incidental finding on routinely imaging examinations. Although a benign simple cyst is usually easy to recognize, the same is not true for complex and multifocal cystic renal lesions, whose differential diagnosis includes both neoplastic and non-neoplastic conditions. El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar las diferencias en ajuste psicológico en víctimas de acoso escolar en función de la calidad de sus relaciones con padres, profesores e iguales. En concreto, se compararon cuatro indicadores de ajuste psicológico (autoestima, ánimo depresivo, soledad y percepción de estrés) en víctimas con buena o mala comunicación con la madre, buena o mala comunicación con el padre, alta o baja percepción de ayuda del profesor, y alta o baja identificación con su grupo de iguales.
