Tiivistelmä: Tutkielmani käsittelee Yrjö Kokon satua Pessi ja Illusia (1944) subtekstinä Johanna Sinisalon fantasiaromaanissa Ennen päivänlaskua ei voi (2000). Näkökulmani subtekstisyyteen on Kiril Taranovskyn subtekstianalyysi ja sen liittyminen kirjoittamiseen ja tekijyyteen. Subteksisyyden kautta tarkasteltuna lukeminen on olennainen osa kirjoittamisprosessia. Sinisalon romaani ammentaa monin tavoin Kokon sadusta: Ennen päivänlaskua ei voi sisältää paljon samankaltaisia elementtejä kuin Pessi ja Illusia sekä teemoiltaan että aihepiireiltään ja juonenkäänteiltään. El trabajo presenta unas tablas que recientemente han aparecido en el mercado artístico. Cuatro de ellas las atribuimos al anónimo Maestro de Portillo. Una quinta tabla, subastada en Italia, la adscribimos al Maestro de Calzada, que trabajó, sobre todo, en el ámbito vallisoletano. Estas personalidades artísticas continúan en el anonimato, seguramente por la escasa documentación conservada en el territorio donde ejercieron su profesión. Tryptophan Fortification of Adapted Formula Increases Plasma Tryptophan Concentrations to Levels Not Different from Those Found in Breast-Fed Infants

Several recent studies have demonstrated significantly lower plasma total tryptophan concentrations in formula-fed than in breast-fed infants. We have measured preprandial plasma amino acid concentrations in infants breast-fed or fed a formula with a protein concentration of 1.57 g/dl and with a whey/casein ratio of 60:40 or a formula with a protein concentration of 1.37 g/dl and a whey/casein ratio of 40:60 and fortified with 10 mg/dl (15 mg/100 kcal) of tryptophan. Healthy term infants (10 per group) were either breast-fed from birth or randomly assigned to one of the two study formulas. A series of 1,1′-binaphthyl-2-methylammonium and pyridinium salts 6, 7, and 8 was synthesized through the coupling reaction of 2-(bromomethyl)-1,1′-binaphthalene (5) with the dendritic tetraallyl pyridinedicarbinol dendron 2 as well as triethylamine and 4-tert-butylpyridine. Tetraallyl pyridinedicarbinol dendron 2 was prepared by allylation of commercially available diethyl pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate (1). The allylation of 2 with allyltrimethylsilane in the presence of boron trifluoride was unsuccessful, as tetraallyl pyridinedicarbinol trifluoroboron adduct 3 was obtained instead of expected hexaallylpyridine compound 4.
