Plasmon-induced hot-carrier transfer from a metal nanostructure to an acceptor is known to occur via two key mechanisms: (i) indirect transfer, where the hot carriers are produced in the metal nanostructure and subsequently transferred to the acceptor, and (ii) direct transfer, where the plasmons decay by directly exciting carriers from the metal to the acceptor. Genetic studies of complex traits have become increasingly successful as progress is made in next-generation sequencing. We aimed at discovering single nucleotide variation present in known and new candidate genes for developmental dyslexia: CYP19A1, DCDC2, DIP2A, DYX1C1, GCFC2 (also known as C2orf3), KIAA0319, MRPL19, PCNT, PRMT2, ROBO1 and S100B. We used next-generation sequencing to identify single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the exons of these 11 genes in pools of 100 DNA samples of Finnish individuals with developmental dyslexia. Set in a small town in the north of Finland, the crime TV series Ivalo (Arctic Circle, Finland, 2018) exemplifies the fascination of Nordic Noir with ‘remote’ locations as scenes of transnational crime. The plot seems to forebode the corona pandemic, portraying the spread of a life-threatening ‘Yemenite virus’ developed as a biological weapon from the Balkans to Lapland. In this article, I analyze how the virus narrative allows the series to bring new perspectives on Nordic Noir. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkastellaan Pajalan ja Pykeijän kylteissä esiintyvien kieliresurssien muodostamia kielimaisemia. Tavoitteena on selvittää, millaiset kielimaisemat kieliresurssien käytön perusteella Pajalaan ja Pykeijään muodostuu. Lisäksi tutkielmassa selvitetään Pajalassa esiintyvistä vähemmistökielistä meänkielen ja Pykeijässä kveenin kielen käyttöä kielimaisemissa. Vähemmistökielten kohdalla tarkastellaan niiden asemaa ja suhdetta muihin kielimaisemissa käytettyihin resursseihin nähden. However, the rapid change of digital channels and customers’ omnichannel behavior emphasize the need to further investigate how emotions are considered to play role in customer satisfaction and through that to customer loyalty.
