The dry stone wall of 'Paretone dei Greci': an anthracological approach

International audience; Dry stone constructions are a common occurrence in many Mediterranean landscapes. One of these structures known as "Paretone dei Greci" (Taranto, Southern Italy), was subject to an archaeological investigation. Soil and sediment material within this wall, as well as those above and below it, were sampled and processed for archaeobotanical studies. In this manner it was possible to understand its building technique as well as giving it a chronological context. Through an anthracological analysis it was possible to insert the "Paretone" within the surrounding agricultural landscape, thus better highlighting its function in relation to the history of the territory

This thesis is devoted to wall images of the Virgin’s earthly life, an iconographic sequence composed of the young Mary’s history and episodes from Christ’s life which are related to the Virgin, until Pentecost. This research comes within the extended framework from the early Christian art to the Council of Trent. It is based on an abundant iconographic documentation which includes more than 2300 pictures, wall paintings and mosaics, preserved in France and Italy. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the quantitative analysis of the iconographic documentation, according to a triple point of view. Ce texte, destiné à un public brésilien, vise à fournir des outils méthodologiques pour le développement des enquêtes auprès des diplômés des universités brésiliennes. Il évoque tout d'abord l'historique des enquêtes auprès des diplômés de l'enseignement supérieur et présente plus en détail certains systèmes actuels en France, en Grande-Bretagne, en Allemagne et en Italie. Il étudie les expériences brésiliennes en la matière et propose quelques pistes d'amélioration institutionnelle et méthodologique pour le Brésil.

Pendant les XIe et XIIe siècles, plusieurs monastères provençaux ont constitué des réseaux de dépendances significatifs. Cinq ont eu des dépendances en Italie : Lérins, Saint-Victor de Marseille, Saint-Ruf, Montmajour et Saint-Gilles. Il n'existe pas un seul mouvement monastique provençal vers l'Italie, mais chaque abbaye, à un moment particulier du développement de son réseau de dépendances a investi des contrées transalpines, souvent de manière durable. This thesis focuses on a first economic assessment of prematurity in France. Prematurity is defined as occurring before 37 weeks of gestation. It is increasing in France and worldwide. If the issues of public health are already well identified, medical care and collective choices concerning prematurity matters also involve significant economic challenges. The first part of this thesis attempts to present the public health issues of prematurity and highlights the remaining efforts required to provide prevention in France. The educators’ work in juvenile justice residential communities and their capacity of affective attunement to the adolescent's needs is essential for the creation of a protective and enriching context for the adolescent and his life trajectories. This article aims to explore the social representations of educators and young people in residential communities in Italy, through the analysis of their discourses gathered during focus groups.
