"Kunnian hallitsema karoliinien sotilaskulttuuri Ruotsin valtakunnassa 1680-1740" Lisensiaattityössäni tarkastelen suuren Pohjan sodan (1700-21)kokeneiden suomalaisten ja ruotsalaisten karoliinisotureiden maailmankuvaa ja sen vaikutusta heidän elämäänsä. Aikakauden ihmisistä erityisesti sotilaiden koko elämänkulku määrittyi vahvasti kunnian ja kunniallisuuden kautta. Ideaalien ja lähes universaalien soturihyveiden sävyttämä kunniakoodisto ja toisaalta karu sotilaan elämä muodostivat ristiriitaisen sotilaskulttuurin, jonka normien mukaisesti karoliinit elivät usein lyhyeksi jääneen elämänsä. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin kolmen eri sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon organisaation työntekijöiden näkökulmia pariterapian soveltamisesta lähisuhdeväkivallan hoidossa. Tutkimusmenetelmänä oli Erving Goffmanin (1986) kehysanalyysi. Kehys on ikään kuin näkökulma, josta henkilö tarkastelee puheenaiheena olevaa asiaa. Aineisto koostui keväällä 2011 perheneuvolassa, ensi- ja turvakodissa sekä perheasianneuvottelukeskuksessa toteutetuista fokusryhmähaastattelusta, joihin osallistui osa kyseisten toimipaikkojen työntekijöistä. The role of colours and colour patterns in behavioural ecology has been extensively studied in a variety of contexts and taxa, while almost overlooked in many others. For decades anurans have been the focus of research on acoustic signalling due to the prominence of vocalisations in their communication. En esta investigación cualitativa se analizan las respuestas del profesorado de Educación Secundaria y Educación Superior (n=60), durante el curso 2020-21, a un cuestionario sobre la transformación digital de la docencia a causa del Covid-19, con el objetivo de conocer qué tipo de uso del vídeo se realiza y con qué criterios se integra. Chemically defended animals often display conspicuous color patterns that predators learn to associate with their unprofitability and subsequently avoid. Such animals (i.e., aposematic), deter predators by stimulating their visual and chemical sensory channels. Hence, aposematism is considered to be “multimodal.” The evolution of warning signals (and to a lesser degree their accompanying chemical defenses) is fundamentally linked to natural selection by predators. In constructed wetland systems (CWs) for wastewater treatment, the efficiency of the system is highly affected by the system’s water balance. This study shows the results of a series of water balance measurements obtained in 2013 from a pilot horizontal-subsurface flow (HSSF) system in the West of Sicily (Italy). The system included three separate units, one planted with Cyperus alternifolius L., one planted with Typha latifolia L. and an unplanted unit. In countries suffering from chronic water shortages, water distribution systems are often operated on an intermittent basis. As a consequence, the network is involved by cyclical filling and emptying periods causing water quality degradation. During the emptying period, the distribution system is unpressurised and it may occur that pollutants move into the network. Moreover, the stagnation period can promote microbial growth. For this reason water is usually heavily chlorinated in order to maintain it potable. In contemporary societies we are witnessing an expansion of the messages of human capital. These messages have as their central dimension idea of the self-entrepreneur, which implies a deepening in the logic of activation, while blurring the wage relations. In this scenario, young people with university degrees are becoming a favourite target in the offensive of human capital. The penetration of these human capital messages can be seen in the discourses of young university students who have been forced to leave the country during the crisis.
