Esports events are a mainstay of the esports industry and have become increasingly popular among the younger population. The purpose of this study was to use a predictive model to determine whether the variables of congruence, commitment and trust could be predictors of brand recommendation of an esports event and, if so, to what extend they did so and whether they were influenced by gender. Valencian handball consists in hitting the ball with the hands and it may contribute to injury development on the hands. This study aimed to analyze skin temperature asymmetries and recovery after a cold stress test (CST) in professional players of Valencian handball before and after a competition. Thirteen professional athletes and a control group of ten physically active participants were measured. For both groups, infrared images were taken at the baseline condition; later they underwent a thermal stress test (pressing for 2 min with the palm of the hand on a metal plate) and then recovery images were taken. Reliability Generalization Meta-Analysis of Internet Gaming Disorder Scale

The objective of this study was to carry out a reliability generalization meta-analysis of the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale (IGDS) to find out if it presents adequate values that justify its application in its four versions: original and abbreviated with dichotomous or ordinal response. A systematic review including 26 studies that apply this instrument from 2015 to June 2022 was conducted. For each version, a reliability generalization meta-analysis was performed with the random coefficients (RC) and varying coefficients (VC) model. There are many factors that appear to be directly related to the development of gambling addiction problems, and it is important to understand these relationships from a clinical perspective in order to develop prevention and intervention programs. Objectives This study seeks to analyze the relationships that gambling addiction has with gambling motives, cognitive distortions, and irresponsible gambling behavior, and proposes an explanatory model of this addiction. According to the model, enhancement acts as a predictor of cognitive distortions, which in turn predict gambling addiction, with irresponsible gambling as a mediator. En las últimas décadas se ha desarrollado un nuevo modelo didáctico que se está implantando en todos los ámbitos del aprendizaje: el enfoque comunicativo. La característica fundamental de esta nueva metodología es proporcionar al estudiante las herramientas fundamentales para desenvolverse en la sociedad, es decir, capacitar al aprendiente para una comunicación real. Para conseguir este fin se ha de acercar la realidad al aula con actividades que la imiten. Es en este caso donde tienen una importancia fundamental dos aspectos: la motivación y el juego.
