Syyllisiä, sähkönappula ja sateenvarjo : henkilöhahmot Komisario Palmun erehdyksen elokuva-adaptaatiossa

Analysoin tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassani, muuttuvatko henkilöhahmot ja mitä niille tapahtuu Mika Waltarin Komisario Palmun erehdyksen (1940) elokuva-adaptaatiossa Matti Kassilan samannimiseksi elokuvaksi (1960). Hypoteesinani on, että ainakin päähenkilöt tulevat muuttumaan tämän prosessin aikana. Tutkielmani rakenne pohjautuu hypoteesiini, että henkilöhahmot paljastavat myös yhden ilmaisumuodon sisällä itsestään erilaisia piirteitä, kun sosiaalinen tilanne muuttuu. The so-called Lapland War between Finland and Germany at the end of the Second World War led to a mass-scale destruction of Lapland. Both local Finnish residents and the indigenous Sámi groups lost their homes, and their livelihoods suffered in many ways. The narratives of these deeply traumatic experiences have long been neglected and suppressed in Finland and have been studied only recently by academics and acknowledged in public. In this text, we analyze the interviews with four elders of one Sámi village, Vuotso. We explore their memories, from a child’s perspective, scrutinizing the narration as a multilayered affective process that involves sensual and embodied dimensions of memory. ©…

Tutkielman tavoitteena on analysoida henkilökertojan sisäisen maailman esittämistä yhdysvaltalaisen Ben Lernerin romaanissa 10:04 (2014) Gerald Princen epäkerrotun (engl. disnarrated) ja Brian Richardsonin vastakerronnan (engl. denarration) käsitteiden pohjalta. Narratologiassa epäkerrotun käsitteellä tarkoitetaan sellaisia kerrottuja tapahtumia, jotka eivät toteudu kertomuksen tarinamaailmassa, mutta ovat siellä kuitenkin mahdollisia. PurposeThe negative stereotypes concerning late-career workers are found to prevail and lead to negative circulation of narratives and actions between individuals and societies.
