Fay's identity on Riemann surfaces is a powerful tool in the context of algebro-geometric solutions to integrable equations. This relation generalizes a well-known identity for the cross-ratio function in the complex plane. It allows to establish relations between theta functions and their derivatives. This offers a complementary approach to algebro-geometric solutions of integrable equations with certain advantages with respect to the use of Baker-Akhiezer functions. It has been successfully applied by Mumford et al. to the Korteweg-de Vries, Kadomtsev-Petviashvili and sine-Gordon equations. Survival analysis of author keywords: An application to the library and information sciences area

[EN] Our purpose is to adapt a statistical method for the analysis of discrete numerical series to the keywords appearing in scientific articles of a given area. As an example, we apply our methodological approach to the study of the keywords in the Library and Information Sciences (LIS) area. Our objective is to detect the new author keywords that appear in a fixed knowledge area in the period of 1 year in order to quantify the probabilities of survival for 10 years as a function of the impact of the journals where they appeared. Purpose This study aims to critically analyse the Law 9 January 2019, n. 3, on “Measures to fight crimes against the public administration and on the transparency of political parties and movements” (so-called bribe-destroyer law). Design/methodology/approach This paper draws on reports, legal scholarship and other open-source data to examine a legislative innovation for the corruption in Italy in relation to the general guarantees of the trial process and with the controversial paradigm of the national perception index of bribery. A number of phonetic and phonological changes have lately been observed in most geographical varieties of British English. This phenomenon seems to have been accelerated by increasing social and geographical mobility in the past decades. Based on a corpus mainly consisting of several hours of spontaneous interaction between a number of native NW Yorkshire speakers divided into different age groups, this research identifies and analyses several segmental and suprasegmental innovations observed in apparent time in a set of accents associated with a circumscribed geographical area. Tots ells han sigut realitzats pel grup SEPA (Pedagogia Social i Educació Ambiental) de la Universitat de Santiago de Compostela en conveni amb diverses entitats; en els casos que s'analitzen, ajuntaments, Diputació, Fundació Ciutat de la Cultura de Galicia i Eix Atlàntic del Nord-oest Peninsular. In questa nota si prendono in esame quattro libri pubblicati tra il 2018 e il 2020 che affrontano il tema da prospettive differenti come il ruolo politico degli ebrei nell'Italia liberale e negli anni della grande guerra, la storia delle persecuzioni in età fascista, il problematico avvento della Repubblica, la raffigurazione degli ebrei e di Israele nelle sinistre italiane e la più generale percezione di Israele nel mondo politico e culturale italiano.

Combined fuzzy TOPSIS and AHP-based methodology for the prioritization of maintenance key performance indicators: Application to an oil refinery plant

A Maintenance Performance Measurement model based on the use of Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (MKPIs) is proposed in the present paper. Referring to a specific industrial context, a multi-level hierarchical structure is firstly designed to highlight the most meaningful perspectives which affect the maintenance performance. Then, MKPIs selected from the literature or properly formulated to detail some particular perspective of the investigated maintenance process are assigned to the hierarchical framework and prioritized by a Fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)-based approach.
