Practice for determining friction in hydraulic winch systems

This paper presents a method for estimating friction in hydraulic active heave compensated (AHC) offshore winches. The method is a two-step approach where the first step is to model the friction loss in the hydraulic motors based on data from the sub-supplier. The second step requires real-life testing, where the remaining friction losses in the winch system is identified and modeled. In this context, a practice is characterized by obtaining a friction loss estimation with the highest possible accuracy over the widest possible range of operating conditions with a limited amount of experimental work. El presente estudio pretende conocer la prevalencia de los niveles de carga mental en profesionales de Enfermería de varias unidades de hospitalización de un hospital, así como su relación con el turno de trabajo y otros factores sociodemográficos y laborales. We contribute to the optimization of the sparse matrix-vector product by introducing a variant of the coordinate sparse matrix format that balances the workload distribution and compresses both the indexing arrays and the numerical information. This research investigated the congruence between the ideologies of political parties and the ideological preferences (N = 1515), moral intuitions (N = 1048), and political values and worldviews (N = 1345) of diverse samples of Swedish adults who voted or intended to vote for the parties. Logistic regression analyses yielded support for a series of hypotheses about variations in ideology beyond the left-right division. Rywalizacja i wykluczenie a postulaty transportowe - przykłady oddziaływań

W artykule zawarto teoretyczne rozważania dotyczące oceny zależności pomiędzy poziomami rywalizacji i wykluczenia, cechującymi elementy systemu transportowego, a spełnianiem postulatów transportowych stawianych przez użytkowników transportu osobowego. Przedstawiono przykłady różnych rodzajów dóbr tworzących systemy transportowe oraz możliwe oddziaływanie poziomów rywalizacji i wykluczenia na zaspokojenie oczekiwań użytkowników transportu. Wykazano, że oddziaływanie to jest istotne, wpływa bowiem na poziom realizacji postulatów transportowych, a zatem i atrakcyjność poszczególnych form przemieszczania się osób oraz na wybory i zachowania transportowe.
