Maģistra darbs vērsts uz padziļinātu tēmas „"SOHO" maršrutētāju pielietojums lokālajos tīklos un ar to saistītas problēmas” izpēti, kas iepriekš daļēji tikusi pētīta bakalaura darba ietvaros. Darba mērķis ir SOHO aparatūras problēmu un īpatnību izpēte, gan no programmatūras darbības, gan no to konfigurācijas skatupunktiem, kas pārsvarā ir saistīta ar drošības jautājumiem. Viens no galvenajiem uzdevumiem ir apkopot rekomendācijas izstrādātājiem, balstoties uz veiktajiem pētījumiem. Bakalaura darbā „Drošības līdzekļu piemērošanas problēmas kriminālprocesā” aplūkotas teorijā un praksē pastāvošās un aktuālās drošības līdzekļu problēmas. Darbā analizētie problēmjautājumi ir iedalīti divās lielās grupās – ar drošības līdzekļa izvēli saistītās problēmas un ar drošības līdzekļa izpildi saistītās problēmas. Darba mērķis ir apzināt pastāvošās problēmas attiecībā uz drošības līdzekļu piemērošanu, savukārt uzdevumi ir apkopot citu autoru piedāvātos problēmu risinājumus un censties rast jaunus. Severe intra-abdominal infection commonly requires intensive care. Mortality is high and is mainly determined by disease-specific characteristics, i.e. setting of infection onset, anatomical barrier disruption, and severity of disease expression. Recent observations revealed that antimicrobial resistance appears equally common in community-acquired and late-onset hospital-acquired infection. This challenges basic principles in anti-infective therapy guidelines, including the paradigm that pathogens involved in community-acquired infection are covered by standard empiric antimicrobial regimens, and second, the concept of nosocomial acquisition as the main driver for resistance involvement. Aizaugošu palieņu zālāju atjaunošanās dabas parkā "Dvietes paliene" pļaušanas un ganīšanas ietekmē

Kopā kopš 2004. gada Latvijā ir atjaunoti vairāk nekā 7000 ha dabisko zālāju. Lielākā daļa no tiem atjaunoti dažādu projektu ietvaros. Bakalaura darbā skaidrots atjaunoto Dvietes palienes zālāju stāvoklis, inventarizējot zālājus dabā un veicot intervijas ar zālāju īpašniekiem. Doing speckle imaging with the largest telescopes now available will not give you better than the theoretical resolving power of the telescope. With a 4m telescope that is about 30 marc sec in the visible. That happens to be the radius of the supergiant Betelguese. So you are not going to achieve much with speckle imaging on these stars. Temporal difference method for processing dynamic speckle patterns

A temporal difference method for processing dynamic speckle images is proposed. In the method two speckle images of an object, separated by a time interval, are subtracted one from the other to detect whether the speckle structure has changed or not. The rationale of the method is discussed. A variant of the method that allows measuring the area of an activity zone surrounded by a static region is tested in digital simulations. As a demonstrative experiment, that variant is employed to characterize the drying of a damp patch in filter paper.

Dynamic laser speckle is applied as a reliable sensor of activity in all sort of material. Traditional applications are based on a time rate that is usually higher than 10 frames-per-second (FPS). Even in drying processes, where there is a high activity in the first moments after the painting and a slow activity after some minutes or hours, the process is based on the acquisition of images in a time rate that is the same in both moments of high and low activity. A rational expectations model for simulation and policy evaluation of the Spanish economy

This paper presents the model used for simulation purposes within the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance. REMS (a Rational Expectations Model for the Spanish economy) is a small open economy dynamic general equilibrium model in the vein of the New-Neoclassical-Keynesian synthesis models, with a strongly micro-founded system of equations. In the long run REMS behaves in accordance with the neoclassical growth model. In the short run, it incorporates nominal, real and financial frictions.
