Nuorten aikuisten verkkoyhteisöpalvelujen mobiilikäyttö

Tutkielmassa pyrittiin kuvaamaan ja ymmärtämään kuinka suomalaiset nuoret aikuiset käyttävät verkkoyhteisöpalveluja mobiilisti, ja millaisia tekijöitä käytön taustalla on. Tutkimuksen lähestymistavaksi valittiin käyttötarkoitustutkimus. Tutkimus suoritettiin määrällisenä tutkimuksena ja siinä käytettiin kyselylomaketta, johon pystyi vastaamaan verkossa. Tutkimuksen otantamenetelmä oli erityisesti tätä tutkimusta varten kehitetty verkko-otanta. Kyselyyn saatiin 265 vastausta, joista analyysiin otettiin rajauksen jälkeen 154. Aims: A common objective of epidemiological surveys is to provide population-level estimates of health indicators. Survey results tend to be biased under selective non-participation. One approach to bias reduction is to collect information about non-participants by contacting them again and asking them to fill in a questionnaire. In social vespine wasps, the nest characteristics and associates vary intra- and interspecifically. I studied the nest characteristics and nest associates of three Dolichovespula wasp species in boreal Finland. The average number of combs and cells per nest was similar among D. media, D. saxonica and D. norwegica, and similar to Dolichovespula in the temperate zone. Most D. media and D. saxonica colonies produced both gynes and males, whereas D. norwegica produced mainly either one. Whether politics is a separate sphere or an aspect of human action is a subject of academic controversy. I focus here on the political aspect of action, which is not exclusive of other aspects. There are no ‘naturally political’ issues nor is there anything completely devoid of a political aspect. I am now taking a step backwards to discuss the seemingly simple ‘political or not’ question, as compared to the ‘political in which sense’ question, which I have discussed elsewhere.
