Dry eye disease (DED) stems from a loss-of-tear film homeostasis and is frequently seen in video display terminal (VDT) users. Med dette studiet ønsker jeg å tilføre kunnskap på et felt hvor det eksisterer lite norsk forskning. Teoretisk sett tar oppgaven utgangspunkt i tre vanlige profesjonskrav: felles teoretisk kunnskapsbase, felles yrkesetikk og sertifisering, men vektlegger førstnevnte spesielt.
