Developing a globalization competence assessment framework and its application to Finnish and Japanese higher education
2013
Nykyajan kansainvälistyvä maailma luo uusia vaatimuksia valmistuneille ja ammattilaisille tietojärjestelmätieteen (TJT) alalla. Monikulttuurisessa ja hajautetussa ympäristössä työskentelystä on tullut arkipäivää, joten tarvittava pätevyys kansainvälisessä ympäristössä työskentelyyn on edellytys. Tämänhetkinen TJT:n opetussuunnitelma ei kuitenkaan ota kansainvälistymisopetusta huomioon riittävässä määrin. Opiskelijoiden todenmukaisen pätevyyden määrittämiseksi on arvioitava varsinaista kompetenssia pelkän tiedon sijaan. Tämän työn tarkoituksena on vastata edellä mainittuihin haasteisiin rakentamalla viitekehys opettajien käyttöön kansainvälistymiseen tarvittavien kompetenssien määrittämiseks…
