AbstractIn the design of digital logic circuits, QCA technology is an excellent alternative to CMOS technology. Its advantages over CMOS include low power consumption, fast circuit switching, and nanoscale design. Circuits that convert data between different formats are code converters. It has been argued that non-work-related computing (NWRC) takes time away from work and, hence, decreases work productivity. On the other hand, it has also been claimed that short-time non-work-related computing (STNWRC) (a maximum of 15 minutes), has a positive impact on work productivity, including relief from boredom, higher creativity, and the underlying recovery mechanisms. To examine the impact of STNWRC on creative performance, we draw on Fredrickson's broaden-and-build theory, the concept of recovery with mental well-being and low cognitive effort. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan teknologian historiaa 1900-luvun vaihteen Suo-messa. Päälähteenä toimii vuodesta 1889 lähtien julkaistu sanomalehti, Helsingin Sanomat. Tutkimuksessa selvitetään aineistolähtöisen grounded theory -menetelmän avulla niitä piirteitä ja tapoja, joilla uusia yhteiskuntaan merkittävästi vaikuttaneita teknologioita kuvattiin. Under the looming climate crisis, aviation needs to find new solutions to cut its greenhouse gas emissions. One pathway towards zero emissions is the use of electric aircraft. While current battery technology will not allow for medium and long-haul flights at full capacity, on short-haul routes First Generation Electric Aircraft (FGEA) could play a significant role in the near future.
