Tutkimuksessa kartoitetaan Petäjäveden Vanhalle kirkolle annettuja merkityksiä ja selvitetään, millaiseksi kirkko koetaan. Liittyvätkö merkitykset arkkitehtuuriin, uskontoon, pyhyyteen, henkilökohtaisiin kokemuksiin tai muihin kirkkoon yhdistettyihin asioihin? Pääasiallinen aineisto muodostuu Petäjäveden Vanhan kirkon säätiön järjestämän kirjoituskilpailun teksteistä, joita on analysoitu grounded theory -menetelmällä. Tutkimuksessa kirjoitukset on jaettu sisältöjensä perusteella kolmeen luokkaan: 1) Elävä kirkko, 2) Minun kirkkoni ja 3) Jännittävä kirkko. AbstractBlockchain technologies provide means to develop services that are secure, transparent and efficient by nature. Unsurprisingly, the emerging business opportunities has gained a lot of interest that is realized in form of successful Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) that are able to raise billions of USD through crowdfunding campaign. Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) are a novel form of crowdfunding through which hundreds of blockchain-enabled businesses manage to raise billions of dollars in total only in United States. Women and Demons in the Late Medieval Wall Paintings in the Church of Espoo (Finland)

The late-medieval stone church of Espoo (county of Uusimaa), situated on the south coast close to the current-day capital of Finland, Helsinki, displays a wealth of medieval wall paintings executed around the 1510s by a group of painters that has remained anonymous. In the fourth vault of the north aisle a demon has been depicted as the proxy and associate of women who are seen in typical household tasks of milking and churning. On the west wall above the entrance a depiction shows a demon passing a pair of shoes to a woman, and above, three demons are seen twiddling with a parchment.
