Tutkimuksessa kuvataan Humanistisen ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijoiden ko-kemuksia henkilökohtaisesta opintojen ohjauksesta. Aineisto koostuu 23:n syksyllä 2003 aloittaneen opiskelijan kirjoitelmista, joissa käsiteltiin opiskeluaikaisia hopsauskokemuksia. Tutkimuksen lähestymistapa on fenomenologinen. Aineiston analyysi tehtiin Giorgin fenomenologisen psykologian viisivaiheisen analyysime-netelmän mukaan. Analyysin perusteella opiskelijat sijoittuivat kolmeen ryhmään sen mukaan, mikä oli kirjoittajan syy osallistua tutkimukseen. A segment of studies on group structure and performance in software engineering (SE) project-based learning (PjBL) have focused on roles, including studies that use Belbin team roles and studies that address problematic roles such as social loafing. The present study focuses on the status, which is basically missing in SE PjBL studies, although relating to roles. The study investigates the aspects that students identified as indicators of rising or declining status in their project groups. Associations between Students’ Perceptions of the Psychosocial School Environment and Indicators of Subjective Health in Finnish Comprehensive Schools

The study examined how far students’ perceptions of the psychosocial school environment are associated with self‐rated health, life satisfaction and subjective health complaints. Students’ perceptions were associated with one or more indicators of subjective health. Perceived health was better in direct proportion to positive perceptions. Student relations and school strain were the factors that stood out in both genders, with regard to all the health indicators. School engagement, parental support and educational aspiration were found to be important for overall perceived health of the students.
