Ieinteresēto sociālo grupu ietekme uz eiropeizācijas procesu Austrumbaltijā (1199-1229)

Balstoties uz to, ka katra sociālā grupa ir kādas latīņu kristīgās Eiropas garīgās vai laicīgās sfēras reprezentante, bakalaura darbā “Ieinteresēto sociālo grupu ietekme uz eiropeizācijas procesu Austrumbaltijā (1199-1229)” identificēti četri Austrumbaltijas eiropeizācijā ieinteresētie aktori – garīdzniecība, Dānijas Karaliste, bruņniecība un tāltirgotāji – un analizēta viņu nozīme eiropeizācijas procesā laika periodā no 1199. gada līdz 1229.gadam. Izmantojot viduslaiku Livonijas 13. gs. hroniku materiālu, pētījuma rezultātā ir izdevies padziļināt skatījumu uz Austrumbaltijas integrāciju latīņu kristīgās Eiropas kultūrtelpā un tajā iesaistīto aktoru mijiedarbību.

Diabētiskās retinopātijas skrīnings optometrista praksē

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 46 lapām, satur 21 attēlu, 12 tabulas, 2 pielikumus un 105 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: novērtēt optometristu un automātiskās skrīninga programmatūras prasmes atpazīt diabētiskās retinopātijas pazīmes. Pētījuma dalībnieki: pētījumā piedalījās 2 oftalmologi, 14 optometristi un automatizētā skrīninga programmatūra AI Avenue. Metode: 196 tīklenes attēliem tika veikts skrīninga tests atbilstoši starptautiskās diabētiskās retinopātijas klasifikācijai. Rezultāti: Rekomendēto testa standartu – jutība un specifiskums ≥ 80% sasniedza oftalmologs un 2 optometristi. AI Avenue sasniedza vienīgi rekomendēto testa specifiskumu. Secinājumi: AI…

Aveņu pundurainības vīrusa ietekme uz aveņu (Rubus idaeus) šķirņu apputeksnēšanos

Aveņu krūmu pundurainības vīruss (RBDV) ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem Rubus ģints augu patogēniem, kas izplatīts visos aveņu audzēšanas reģionos pasaulē, izplatās ar putekšņiem un izraisa krasu ražas un tās kvalitātes samazināšanos. Darbam tika izvirzīts mērķis: novērtēt aveņu šķirņu putekšņu kvalitāti un apputeksnēšanos atkarībā no to inficētības ar aveņu pundurainības vīrusu. Lai to īstenotu, 2017. un 2018. gadā kopā tika analizēta deviņu aveņu šķirņu putekšņu dzīvotspēja un dīgtspēja dažādos diedzēšanas apstākļos. The antibacterial and antifungal activity of a series of products, in which the 1,5-dimethyl-4-(cyano- NNO-azoxy)pyrazol-3-yl and 1,3-dimethyl-4-(cyano-NNO-azoxy)pyrazol-5-yl moieties were linked to pyridine, pyrazole, isoxazole, thiophene and the furan ring, were examined. No molecule displayed activity against the Gram-negative bacteria tested. Conversely, some compounds displayed activity against two Staphylococcus aureus strains, including the methicillin resistant strain. All compounds displayed interesting antifungal activity, the most active compound of the series being the thiophene derivative 7a. The structure and biosynthesis of heinamides A1-A3 and B1-B5, antifungal members of the laxaphycin lipopeptide family.

Laxaphycins are a family of cyclic lipopeptides with synergistic antifungal and antiproliferative activities. They are produced by multiple cyanobacterial genera and comprise two sets of structurally unrelated 11- and 12-residue macrocyclic lipopeptides. Here, we report the discovery of new antifungal laxaphycins from Nostoc sp. UHCC 0702, which we name heinamides, through antimicrobial bioactivity screening. We characterized the chemical structures of eight heinamide structural variants A1-A3 and B1-B5.
